And this is why you never send anything on eBay or Amazon without tracking. I'm fairly active on eBay and I've had several scam cases brought up against me. The only way they ever stand a chance is if there is no tracking number. eBay will side with the buyer 100% of the time without tracking.

The reason I have it is pretty fail, though - I shipped my computer from FL to NY and back again when I had lived there for a year. Worked out well, wouldn't do it again though, very risky.

Fucking amazon sellers man.

Ordered textbooks, all of the ones I'd need this semester, on Friday. I got most of them by Sunday, except this one. Waiting for it, waiting for it ... turns out the fucking person didn't even ship the fucking thing until Tuesday. What the fuck? Do you think I just order textbooks at the start of the semester for the hell of it? Because I just want to read a fucking textbook for leisure?

That's the first fail, the second fail is that I have to do some assignments with it, but I can't fucking fine an online version of the damn book anywhere. The few sites I've found it on (and have yet to verify if it's legit) are like "register here and enter your credit card number" or "do this fucking survey that will lead you to another survey and another survey in an endless loop of surveys." No.

To say that I'm annoyed would be an understatement.

Find someone in the class who has the book and ask if you can photo copy the relevant pages. Will cost you a couple bucks but should hold you over in the interim.
