After months of not working out due to injury decided to start up again yesterday. Pushed myself a little too hard and can barely move today. Worth it without a doubt but fuck my thighs and arms burn.

Get bitched at today by the project manager for an error totaling less than 1/32 of an inch over the span of 450 miles. The fail is that he already had the measurement and didn't realize it, so the entire time I spent on it was worthless.
All I can figure is that somebody owned a grill cover and a calculus book. They kept the grill cover, sold the calc book back to amazon, and used the grill cover box to mail it in. Then some dumbass temp christmas employee threw the "grill cover" back on the shelf without checking it out. So I got it. And promptly resold it to them.
I work in radio. One of our stations has had the same format and name for about eight years now. Last month, a station in Orlando (which is only about a 3 1/2 hour drive from where we are in Tallahassee...) launched with the exact same name, format, and position on the FM dial. That was some pretty low rent shit. But then this week they started airing Bubba The Love Sponge, which you either love or hate, and hoooooo boy do people really hate him. And of course now our station is getting hate mails, faxes, phone calls, and FB posts from people in Orlando. We're just like "sorry dudes, not us".
Some people need to be kept as far away from computers as humanly possible. Oye, the joys of working IT.
Coworker next to me has been resetting her computer all day because Excel "messes up the formula things" when she's trying to input new data.
Her keyboard needed new batteries...
Backed into a bicyclist today and paid him 20$ for booze and called it even. Plumbing in house exploded and there is shit everywhere.
lol you're lucky that wasn't me
A loaf of bread woulda been enough 4 u doe :kappa:

My personal favorite is when an office asks what kind of printer to buy. We give them a few recommendations, then they go buy some chincy piece of shit HP $80 printer and want to pay me hourly to "make it work with all the computers here" (all 14 of them). Then it takes 10x as long as if they had bought my recommended model. Good thing they saved $120 on the printer (and paid me an extra $300 in labor)!
I used to just get really annoyed with people printing unnecessary stuff. Like there were some things that absolutely had to be hard copy, but 99% of the shit people printed was a huge waste of toner and paper.
My second biggest gripe to printers is email. People keep every single email they ever have gotten and don't sort them into folders then ask me why outlook is running slow when they have 30,000 emails (not an exaggeration) in their inbox. Clean that shit out people. Outlook and our mail server doesn't want to try to sync all of that data every 2 minutes. It causes so many problems.
I have to print out 4 copies of this one document every other week. It isn't a form, just work instructions that expire every 14 days. Worst waste of 60 pieces of paper and ink toner.
