The aforementioned woman who had me walk her to her car seems to not want anything to do with me now. Guess she realized I am radically different from her and didn't make it through my conversational meat grinder. Sent a text tonight asking if she "needs a late night safety escort to the car again (last Monday was when she asked). I will hang around if that is the case after my class." you know despite the 14 degree weather not factoring in this bullshit wind.

Do I like her, and am I interested in her? No, not really by any means.
I just felt I should be a nice guy since I was not kind all day long to various assholes. Personally needed to not be mean for just a second that night and freeze my ass off as penance.

Anyway no answer so I won't bother again with that. Guess I just have to appreciate the randomness.

Anyone else a merciless indiscriminate dick who ends up feeling the desire to not be one to try and balance it out a little bit?

EDIT: Oh, and while I have you for a moment since that never happens. I sent instructions and then verbally walked Cass through building a computer piece by piece and setting up the correct OS and drivers (NIC card had a specific one for 8 and 8.1 or it stop) with no physical media. Since you know her and tech, how unbelievable is that? I think that one belongs in the win of the thread. I mean she needed a PC so I said fine, but I don't think pieces parts showing up on her doorstep is what she had in mind.

That's the worst fucking feeling. Try toothpaste to cool it down.

Few fails : Since I'm on workman's comp I get a temporary total disability payment every two weeks. I always get an automated email the amount has been released on Sunday. No email even after holiday so getting worried now ugh. Letting my husband contact my lawyer to let him know in case we have to follow up.

AT&T released an update 4.4 for the Samsung S5 and ever since hitting the home button 99% of the time brings up voice search/Google search. Found a temporary solution online to restart phone which works for now. Also been having wifi and battery drain issues that their tech support has no answer for. Going back to a fucking iPhone next year ugh.

It's due to a software update that AT&T just had come up for Google Now. Since it's a forced program, there really isn't much to do, it's a software glitch, not a hardware glitch. Has about 5 pages of bitching on some android forum where we found the reboot fix.
