Random Fail: First World Problems

According to my cell provider, ive done a gig of data in 36 hours. The only thing ive done off my wifi at work is send 20-30 snaps, check facebook feed, and listened to the 3rd period of habs/bolts. My facebook isnt set to autoplay videos (FUCKING STUPIDEST THING EVER BTW), so i honestly have no fucking clue how ive done that much data in 36 hours.

On saturday afternoon, I changed a flat tire for a guy driving a suburban. This happens 30 minutes later. He caused the accident.

I found out yesterday that the 7-year-old girl in one of the cars he hit died from her injuries....

The worst part is that I almost declined the call for a tire change because it was on the freeway, lane-side. The guilty part of me believes that had I called dispatch and declined the call, that little girl would be alive.

I'm so sorry to hear this but I hope you realize there is no guarantee of anything but understand why you might feel that way. Life is just unpredictable and as someone who has had a "what if" moment like that.. It will eat you alive if you overthink it. It's, sad for sure but try to remember it's not your fault. It just as easily could have happened to someone else at another time. Having such remorse and feelings are normal in the situation and it sucks all around

Kidding. I told them that no, I'm not this Adam Levine person. They were somehow pissed off at me "lying" to them.



Whatever, I get my slurpee. I'm happy. All is well. or so I thought. I make it within 40 feet of the Apartment. A man comes up to me, asks me if I'm Adam. And before I could say anything. He says. And I wish to god I am making this up.

Want to come back to my place and Sing? We'll make so much noise that it'll wake the neighbours. Which was followed by a wink....a fucking wink.

WHY DOES THIS SHIT ALWAYS HAPPEN TO ME. This is like the 9th time in like 2 months that people say I look like this Adam person. Who is he?

Planning a wedding at all is stressful as fuck and expensive. I don't regret going from a 120 person guest list to 20 in Tahoe. Spent 7k total between EVERYTHING vs about 30k just for reception. Just elope haha.

My fail : Fucking female issues getting worse day before surgery for my carpal tunnel. Period disappeared for 4 months ( not pregnant I just have PCOS) and decides to fucking reappear the week of surgery. FUCKING REALLY? I can't wait to have all this stuff removed permanently.

Ugh, that blows. If it makes you feel better, I had mine while I was trying to enjoy my vacation overseas. Probably can't really compare, but mine always knows when it will be most unwelcome and always shows up right on time. When I was in high school, it was always on opening night of any performance I was in, without fail.

My fail: professor e-mailed us this morning for our class this afternoon, we have to write a fucking two-page paper (which really isn't that hard but come on man) by the time we come to class today. It's not hard work, it's just ... dude, some advance notice would have been nice.

Yeah we basically realized that money could go towards a lot more than a party.
I actually printed our own invitations from home and no one even knew lol.

We then scoped out some officiants in Tahoe since it's only 3 hours from us, found a restaurant for the reception and 5 years later not one fucking regret. We spent the most on food and photography which was the best choice ever. My dress was 300 off the rack ( closer to 600 after alterations).

We were married overlooking emerald bay at Tahoe and I have a rainbow in my wedding pics, couldn't ask for more. It helps I'm agnostic and my husband atheist for location.

There's no wrong way about it but for us it was a light bulb moment lol. I've attended weddings all over the spectrum and firmly believe that as long as it's within your means, hopefully it's just once so go for it. My father in law gave us 1k before the wedding that we actually ended up being forced to use for our sick kitty a week later and paid for the restaurant dinner for everyone which ran about 1800 for 20 people.

That's all the help we had though and didn't ask for it. Since my family is all estranged /deceased we didn't expect anything anyway. I felt guilty back then but now realize it's just the awesome man my father in law is and am lucky to have. I don't wish wedding planning on anyone though since even being small we had some snafu moments lol.
