I don't fault her for trying, its just one of those where the first impression was terribad and its just gone further downhill from there. It's not just me as well my BF's mom and dad don't like her either. All I have to do is be patient, if his past is any indication they will break up in approximately 1.5-2 years from now.

While she is 100% my type (a ginger with freckles), and she is a former gymnast, so aesthetics aside what I have seen of her personality is not attractive. Not to mention, one does not simply nail his best friends ex.

I'm marrying a good friend's/roommate's ex.

Then again he dated all the girls that were in our "group." Don't know why they even bothered; he's an ass and not very attractive, but whatever.

Ordered the last 3 pieces to my new computer earlier in the week. CPU, mobo and gpu. They were originally scheduled to be delivered today. Mobo got delayed because of "A late UPS trailer arrival has caused a delay." Now I don't get the weekend to play with my new computer. =/

Nothing wrong with dating somebody single that you know, I personally would not date my best friends ex. I will say that it may be different in my case since my best friends relationships generally last 1.5-2 years, so I suppose you would call those serious relationships.

Nothing is keeping me from dating single people that I know, even if I don't date as it is. However, their is a difference between dating somebody that you know, and dating a best friends ex.

Yeah, because there were no "sumo wrestlers" in Xitang and no one was giving hugs.
He was correct though that people were enthralled with the fact we were the only two white guys for a thousand miles. Although where he focuses on race I simply stated its because we are different here, not because we are white.
I did have some people come up super excited and asking to take pictures with me. My hair (somewhere in the recent RL pics thread) seems to get me a little extra attention in Asia. I did also stick my tongue out and give a peace sign after the third picture or so too so then when I pass by people give me the peace sign.
Considering I am rather repulsive here domestically

it was a different experience to walk into a sunglass shop run by some young women and having them blush and giggle uncontrollably at me. Damn, did I need shades though.
Anyway, he makes it sound like we were hoisted up on chairs at a Jewish wedding or something.
