...and then don't, because you clearly have no ability to judge whether or not something is worth posting.
Enough of this shit. Don't get excited, he's not bant. He's just taking a 24 hour vacation.
Now that sucks. I wouldn't be able to deal with a cat who pees all over the place cuz that pee smell is next level foul smelling. Sucks+1 if you only have the one cat too, because it means she's hella picky, lol.
At the very least, my cat is my best animal pal (sleeps with us, actually takes a shower with me, follows me everywhere, enjoys company of friends coming over, doesn't mind smell of weed, sleeps on my desk next to my PC or on my PS4). Fuck if I'm a few minutes late on that meal, doe.
With that said, he at least smacked my face around with no claws this morning.
+1 to dogs, fuck cats.
My random fail - apparently I'm not "ready" to lose weight, even though it's a medical necessity at this point. Fucking hypocritical, irrational, borderline woo-woo bullshit. Take your emotional fuckery and shove it up your ass.

In case you're just confused because I wasn't overly big on details in that first post; I went to a weight management center after being referred by my PCP. After the intake and eval, I had a long discussion with the doc, and after nearly 45 minutes she said she doesn't think I'm "ready" to lose weight, and therefore she won't help me. Biggest fucking waste of time ever. The thing that sucks the most is the very low calorie diet program is basically perfect for me. I overeat because I'm lazy and hate buying and preparing proper food. I wait until I'm starving, and then I get fast food or order pizza and shit. Having the structure and simplicity of meal-replacement bars and shakes would be ideal, but nope, can't do that, cuz I'm not "ready", whatever the fuck that means. That's the borderline woo-woo bullshit.
It probably means that you're irate and sarcastic enough that she doesn't think you'll comply with any regiment she prescribes. Act more sincere next time.
Can't just have it all handed to you man. You have to show some sort of initiative before having your doctor sign off on something like that. I know I wouldn't given the info you just gave. Take some time away from shit posting on these boards and make your food for the week on a Sunday. It's really not that hard if you at least pretend to give a fuck.
Probably. And then my therapists wonder why I just automatically say yes and agree with things even though I know I most likely won't keep the promise 100%. I'm too realistic - everybody fails at some point or another, everybody cheats, everybody has off days when they could've or should've done something and didn't. Today was one of the few days where I was honest about that realism. She asked if I would promise to do some walking for the next 10 days, and I told her honestly that my default position is to just say yes, but that I know it's unlikely I'd do the whole 10 days. I'd probably do half that. But I'd try. Guess that isn't good enough.
This. If they perceive that you are not going to dedicate yourself 100% to it, they are not going to allow you to do it. Honestly though, even being lazy it's fairly easy to cook something healthy. Just track your calories in an app like my fitness pal, go for a 10-15 minute walk a day, and invest in a crock pot. Nothing better than tossing a bunch of ingredients in, set the timer, go out for the day to run errands, and come back to delicious food ready to be plated.
Agree with other posters here but I had to point this out -
I do this and I'm 15 pounds overweight, not hundreds. There are a lot of things to consider and not just a simple "oh i'm lazy and if i had structure it would be better". It's so much more than that. Believe me - I've lost 90 lbs in the past 1.5 years, and I dind't do it by some easy-way-out program that gave me things.
I agree with the person you saw - if they put you on that plan you wouldn't stick to it. You aren't ready to do that. Your body craves the shitty shit too much. Waaaay too much. And you're still looking for an easy way out.
edit: just want to say, step 1 is usually admitting the problem in any recovery thing, and for extreme obseity that's usually best done in my opinion by keeping a food log and calorie count of everything you eat in a week or so, then you start to get the picture of where you're at. i didn't knwo when i was 100 lbs overweight that i was eating twice my suggested daily intake, i thought wlel if i didnt eat breakfast or lunch then this entire pizza should cover me for the day. no that's 3000 calories.
You are never going to be "ready" to lose weight but it sounds like the doctor thinks you're a waste of time.
Fucking do it yourself. It sucks, it's annoying and really fucking hard. If you are lazy, you'll most likely fail. Stop being fucking lazy.
Cook your own food, do literally fucking anything that keeps you out of a chair. Get off of BG.
Source: I've lost a shitload of weight. It wasn't fun.
Bolded for truth. That's the way I see reality, and why I refer to this nonsense as woo-woo.
I've lost a lot of weight before as well, and it did suck. Circumstances are worse now, and I don't feel bad about asking for a little help to make it easier. Getting on a structured, monitored-by-physician diet plan doesn't strike me as having anything handed to me, or some kind of miracle easy-way-out. It strikes me as getting help. Maybe that's why I'm so furious and depressed all at once - because I asked for help and was told I'm not good enough or in a position to receive help.
if you're not ready to lose weight, in your own words, then why be mad when a doc agreed with you?
