Decided to go to Buffalo Wild Wings for lunch since my dad gave me a gift card. Gift card was declined as inactive.....
Happened to us on Christmas night at dinner with a Visa check card.
They did that to us last year. Replaced it with Poweraid, Gatoraid, and Monster/Rockstar energy drinks. Replaced shit with worse shit.
Also today we found out they closed the rec room gym at our station. The short answer? "We have found personnel are spending too much time in the rec room and on the exercise equipment." We don't get paid to work out or anything but we do get paid lunch that you're considered "Off Duty" (unless there's an emergency and you're required to monitor the air during it). Most people just hit the machines for 30 minutes and eat on the road. Don't have shit to do when i'm assigned admin cept troll BG now.
Bleh, the hinge on the arm of my glasses decided to crumble last night. Soonest I can get an eye exam is Wednesday morning, so looks to be about 2 weeks without my glasses. FUUUUUU
Sellotape?
Also why you always keep at least 1 old pair of glasses.
I dont think Americans know what Sellotape is. Its sticky tape if I recall correctly.
I'm still mega hungover from last night and I lost my samsung galaxy s3. AFTER I remember getting a number from someone really hot.
I rang Straight Talk thinking they'd track it for me since its still on, but they dont have the infrastructure.
...and?
There's no reason to throw away an old pair and leave yourself screwed if you lose/break your current ones, old glasses are better than no glasses.
Being that my prescription changed enough over those years that my vision is actually worse then what it was with the glasses I had prior, yea there was no way I was keeping them. I can deal with signs at a distance being fuzzy. Having the whole world fuzzy on the other hand, yea no.

That's what I meant by old glasses/no glasses. It's a given that if your prescription changed your eyes got worse, I've never heard of someone's vision improving over time.
It obviously varies from person to person but your eyes generally don't change that much in 3-4 years to the point where an old pair of glasses won't still offer significant improvement over none at all.
