If you live anywhere near a wooded area in Florida you are bound to have them.

Southern Cali checking in, palmetto bugs, cockroaches love hangng out on wooden porches and trees at night. Went to bakersfield once. Never again. You can nuke that city from orbit and they'd still live.
I did a scavenger hunt one time where one of the goals was to catch a live cockroach and bring it back. My fiancee and her friend were the ones we set to the task, and by god did they get it done. Caught it outside a hospital on Broadway.
That's right, outside the hospital.
Living in Florida half my life bugs of all types get in regularly and roaches can be hit or miss depending on area. We never had them in our house, my parents would have freaked and had the house exterminated or moved I sware. They both came from poor families and lived in horrible conditions so it freaked them out worse than me. In our recent trip to Florida I enjoyed seeing all the lizards around. I miss them.
I've been sick since Monday night and soonest appointment for the doctor is tomorrow in the afternoon. My fucking throat is on fire and I'm coughing up what feels like my lungs. No big deal though, obviously nyquil can handle it even though I'm on my second bottle. Ughhh.
Cockroach's, lizards, alligators, are all a big nope in my book. If we nuke Florida Cockroaches and CS are bound to survive.
Well that's not terribly comforting, but you'll all know that I fought the good fight, I guess.
I don't see the big ones here, but the little ones I see all the time. I also have the little lizards around, and sometimes they get in the apartment. They don't bother me too much, but usually I'll catch them and let them back out. Bugs are kind of an inevitability in Florida.
I had to go full war zone on the roaches in my house (and lol surprisingly they don't go near my bowl).
Poison powder. Poison food bait. Coffee can filled with sugar water, lined with oil (they crawl in and can't get out. Kitchen area lined with duct tape (they walk on it and get stuck). And some silicon powder (This shit cuts their exoskeletons and they leak out all their fluids after walking on it).
Most of them are gone now. Just to get the stragglers.
And for any one that happens to be around when I'm cooking, I pour boiling water into a spray bottle and kill them that way (fun to watch them do a little dance before they die lol)
I know what to get you for your birthday.
Spoiler: show
I saw a friend of mine's fiancée on Tinder. They have been together for 6 years and engaged for about a year and a half. I'm trying to be optimistic and think maybe they are swingers looking for third partner. But probably not. I'm just gonna be over here with Kermit sipping on some tea.
The question is did you swipe right or take some screenshots?
Yes to both.
I would tell your friend and show him if I were you. Sure it might break off their engagement, but cheaper than divorce 4 years down the line.
Eh, she could be on OK Cupid right now and I'm not so sure it really affect the marriage. After the wedding? Well its a little more serious. Still not conclusive though is my point.
