Update: they also feature the Tokyo Drift, which is sake bomb + Fireball.
Nobody cares.
Dude's spammed a fuckload of threads with short-ass statements that either make no sense in context or are blatantly obvious attempts to raise his post count.
Does this site have a certain number of posts you need to make before you gain a privledge or something? Would make sense
If anything, I was actually just being a bit silly. I'd like it if that were just your normal response.
And yeah, I'm reading his posts now. Its kinda fun to try to hunt down the posts earlier in the threads that he's actually responding to.
Sure does, can't post links and such without 10 posts I think..?
Either way, it says right at the top of the screen for me " Users with less than 10 posts cannot post URLs in their posts. Spamming to get to 10 posts won't be tolerated, if you really need to post an URL please contact one of the admins. "
Yeah I think it's 10 to post outside of General, but I can't remember for sure. Spamming is one of my pet peeves, I mean hell getting new people is nice and all but it would be nice if they'd actually contribute instead of posting bullshit.
Ah, yes, links. That's what it is.
He had a thread selling software or something, do you guys have to put up with sentient ads like that a lot here?
Hahaha, that's probably exactly why the 10 post rule exists in the first place.
I'd never buy computer software just randomly on a site like this but part of me is impressed we're on the radar enough that people try lol
Part 1:
Was on a date with an attractive lady and it was going really well; we were really hitting it off and having a good time.
All of a sudden my wife and daughter come into the room and wake me up.
I think this makes me a horrible husband/father or something, idk
Part 2:
After spending several minutes trying to troubleshoot the thermostat to get the AC to come on, I go outside to look at the unit and realize that there just isn't one for this condo. I'm 90% sure the Craigslist ad said the unit had AC, but the ad itself is ancient history in Craigslist time so there's no way I can verify and get mad at the lessor.
I wouldn't worry about part 1, dreams can mean nothing at times and just be your brain defragmenting your day.
Part 2 jesus that is shitty. you think you'll just buy a small one yourself and install?
Nah, probably not. I'm gonna use this opportunity to buy that shave ice machine that I've always wanted and my wife says we don't have the room for, though.
An actual central air unit would require an outdoor coil/fan thingy (can't think of what the hell it's called) and there isn't a concrete pad for it, and since we're renting it's not worth the bother. A window unit is less than ideal, and I'm pretty sure we'd quickly get complaints from our neighbor who has already told me that "We don't do that here. It's against the by-laws" when I parked in front of my garage for ten minutes to load a few things.
Similar to what Melena (or was it Astylla) said in the other thread: I live in the SF Bay Area and close to the water, so it's rarely warm enough to actually need AC. Just rather annoying 'cause I could've sworn that AC was on the listing.
Um, most of the shit posted on the forums (and forums in general) is bullshit pretty much.
People talking about sports, relationships, random images, food, and videos. Its all bullshit, but thats why its good.
Lol'd at the "then stop spamming" remark to you too. He's got your number.
I've lived all over the country and by far the bay are sucks the most in terms of "rules" at properties not to mention the ever rising housing costs. Definitely sucks about the A/C situation.
We moved from an overpriced tiny unit in Dublin with A/C to am older small complex without at the Castro Valley /Hayward border. Honestly for the 350 to 400 less a month, a few weeks out of the year I can fucking deal. At least here we get the cooling breeze more often than not with a metal screen door to help get some air in. As soon as we can get into a condo or house though it will have A/C though lol.
