Yesterday my sister messages me about my dad who I give zero fucks about. Telling me he's fine but has dementia due to his age ( mid 80s) but cried when she told him how happy I am. I'm pretty annoyed because I don't want this asshat to know anything about me. He had numerous chances I gave him and hasn't even attempted to contact me since my mom died 10 years ago. Fuck that.

Now I'm getting the guilt trip AGAIN just like 10 years ago because I didn't fucking call him on his birthday a month after my mom died. We had not talked in nearly 5 years before do what makes you think I'm going to start caring. Just because you suddenly become born again and keep saying "bless this" or "praise god" on Facebook doesn't change a damn thing in my book. Ugh just leave me alone..

My sister tried doing similar to me with our father. Hadn't talked to him since I was 13. She kept saying he's changed blah blah. I said he's a grown man so he can figure out how to get a hold of me because I'm not breaking my neck for someone that forgot I existed when I was a kid (his kid). He passed when I was 33 in September of 2014. My sister now hasn't talked to me since. Just my 2 cents, but people are selfish and family member or not, if you do me wrong and don't have the conscious to apologize I'm not going to forget. Do you and make your family #1.

Happy to say AAA did not fire the facility I posted about earlier. Now the SJW's are again posting like there's no tomorrow. Boycotts etc. Have fun with that.

I'm just throwing out a sweeping generalization here but I'm willing to bet 95% of the SJW crowd doesn't know fuck all about cars and will still need AAA to save their lives if something happens so I doubt there will be any serious dip in business.

I have nothing to add to this post, but Brill I wanted to ask, does AAA outsource CSR jobs? The reason I ask is because I recently had a phone interview with HP (Hewlitt-Packard) for a CSR position and they stated it was roadside for AAA & Lexus. I was surprised.

I can't speak for AAA but I work for Hendrick Automotive which owns the Lexus and Acura dealership I work at in California. For our included Lexus Roadside assistance I'm pretty sure they contract through AAA.

While we still call it Lexus Roadside, I wouldn't be surprised if it's just an affiliate as they then find someone local to send out, similar to AAA.

Yeah I've heard. My boss is in NC now for some management summit actually and Mr. Hendrick is due at our dealership this week. My department is currently off site down the road due to an impending remodel so he may or may not stop by.

It depends on the AAA Club. The US is divided into Club areas. So what policies we have in our region aren't always the same as say California. For a number of years we did outsource to a company based in Colorado but had agents all over the country. Onto the programs like Lexus. Those contracts come up for bid every few years. We currently handle Lexus and Mazda along with some smaller groups. While you're calling Lexus roadside you will be sent a truck from AAA. They pay us to provide service to their customers etc.

Aww feel for you. We went through that with our Russian Blue. We took him in from a friend who was moving. His issue was he couldn't go at all. Two weeks at the vet and around $900 later and he's been awesome since.

I'm so sorry that's the worst. It might be good to look into food being the cause if they don't find anything foreign. Unfortunately I had a negative experience with inexpensive food and have been feeding my kitties Blue Buffalo ever since. I hope it gets better quickly.

Yeah I've been told by a friend of mine who breeds cats that might be it. Another friend had an old Siamese with the same issue but was fine when put on a diet of certain foods. Been a couple hours now and still waiting to hear back from my vet.

Our vet told us more than likely the start of the issue was lack of water. The biggest help was switching from a standard water dish to a streaming fountain. The Russian Blue now drinks a ton. We do both wet food and kibble. After going through a few and watching both of our diva pig cats decide which they liked the most, it was 9 lives Urinary Health kibble, and two years later he's still doing awesome. Something we did in the beginning was adding water to the kibble just to get more water into his system. Not sure if it helped or not, but he ate like a pig then, and still does! It was great after a few days back home and he got used to the fountain and food he was so different. Before, he would sleep mostly and was very standoff ish. Since the vet visit he turned into a super playful and loving cat.

I'm lucky all 3 of our cats drink without any coaxing. In fact Jager is a fucking diva with his water. He eats his food over the bowl, and if the water gets too dirty, he will meow at us while sitting next to the bowl until we change the water. That cat is too fucking smart sometimes...

Almost bought a new bike today without checking how much my insurance would change from my current bike.

That almost ended extremely badly.
