Was talking to my lawyer about it. He said the only way it wouldn't be worth taking that is if they would just agree to paying more. If it goes to court, after court costs and fees, even if I got another 10 grand on top of that to make it 25-30, I'd still walk out with approximately the same amount in my pocket in the end

Not to try to persuade you to do anything, as your lawyer is definitely the best person to take advice from, but we've had fat asses in NYC step off a curb wrong and sprain their ankle end up suing for millions. Not to say that they get it most of the time, but you were literally hit by a bus. That's a bit different. Then again, it'll also depend on who your lawyer is and how much time and money they can invest in it.

Well when I was talking he said other cases he's handled w/ PSTA were offering around 5k on their initial offers for settling and they take things into account in court like how badly I'm injured (if I were in a wheelchair or paralyzed, this wouldn't be a discussion right now, etc.) and that he'll try to push them for more and that going to court or not is up to me but there's a higher chance of it not being worth it than it being worth it

If they're known to offer low and the cases that do go to court don't offer much better I'd say his advice is pretty sound.

Still it's ridiculous to me that you get hit by a bus and end up getting 5-7k after everything while these fat slobs go for/get millions because they don't know how to walk.

So go to an ATM Friday after work to take out my money (I just love getting paid on a money card since the company feels giving us checks is too hard), and after hearing it start counting the money to give out, an error message says the transaction cannot be completed at this time. Try the other ATM and lucky me, it tells me their is no money in the account. Being that Bank of America is a piece of shit when it comes to operating hours, I have to wait until the money is "refunded" to my account before I can withdraw it again. Sunday night, the money is back and while I'm taking it out, my brake pedal suddenly goes straight to the floor and I hear what sounds like air hissing when I push the pedal down.

Only good thing is that it was 2AM on sunday so there was little to no traffic driving a car with no brakes to our mechanic.

I had a similarly difficult situation and I complained to the dealer as well as the car company. I repeatedly called the corporate Nissan office and kept escalating my call and went through 4 or 5 people telling me they wouldn't help me at all then finally I got to the "VP" of customer relations and they finally helped me get the issue fixed. It was a huge pain in the ass but I ended up with a permanent fix to the flaw and a service credit for all service done to that point.

It was amazing how long they told me that the issue was my fault and caused by how I used my truck they really stuck to that point until they sent out a specialist. The specialist said "oh yeah we know about this flaw. We have an easy fix for it we have done before."

I'm so fucking over Ford right now. Completely UNACCEPTABLE treatment by a sales manager while waiting to speak with the GM.

Then the GM basically patronizing and belittling us and refusing to take any responsibility just blaming Ford since they built the cars. I just can't even right fucking now.

Well, from the service records I have, as I think I may be missing 1 or 2, we are at 61 days and counting that my car has been in the shop. What pisses me off the most now is I went into the ford sync my ride site, which is supposed to have every service record from every time I've brought my car into the shop, and the dealership has not been entering any of the information in there like they are supposed to. Tomorrow is another call and pushing this up the corporate ladder.

Funny side note though, one of my dad's friends is a general manager at another dealership and when I mentioned how much of a dick the general manager was at the ford location I went to, he immediately knew who it was without me even saying his name.

Been at my job for two years, found a pdf document for the new hire in my department on the work computer, saw that her starting pay is higher than what I make. Asking for a raise the end of this week and leaving if they refuse.
