I know not everyone does well with spelling and grammar but FFS the proper usages of" you're and your/ they're and their, etc isn't fucking difficult. So my friend got robbed at "gunpoint" last night at Fossil park (The place where I do my cardio roughly 4-5 nights a week). I used quotations because he could have been pretending. (Had it under a towel). Got his phone and about 100 bucks he had on him.

I don't think it's because she's newer since other people who have recently been hired are getting paid the same as me or even less sadly, so I'm not sure what the deal is. It's fine though, I was thinking about leaving due to the lower than average pay, but this sealed the deal. Funny enough, I asked around the other departments what their pay was, and it was funny to see that each department though another specific department made more money:

SP (My department): I thought GC made the most?
GC: I thought SP made the most? Either you guys or CP definitely?

Been trying to contact my grandmother to notify her of my mother's death. Never picked up, didn't think too much of it because she's old and figured it was just bad luck.

Aunt called me today and notified me of my grandmother's hospitalization. Apparently, she fell and was later found in a dehydrated and delusional state as well as in generally bad shape. Turns out that she has gallstones, which shouldn't be too bad, but apparently the doctors are worried about other unspecified stuff and need to do some more check-ups. As luck would have it, all of this happened on Monday, which is also the day my mother died.

Some weeks, I swear.

And it's pancreatic cancer, metastases in the lung and in the liver, way too late to do anything about it. At the rate this is going, I cannot help but wonder who the next one with cancer is going to be. My dog?

And to top it off, my sister is complaining about me not having shed a tear about my mother at all. I told her that I held back a few tears out of concern for her and my brother when we saw my mother's dead body, but apparently, I'm still some kind of monster to get over it so quickly and my mother would be disappointed because I didn't love her; terribly sorry I currently cannot afford to assume fetal position, really.

I absolutely agree with this and I'm so sorry you are getting grief on top of everything, that is the absolute worst.

When it rains it pours. Situation at the in-laws exploded today. As I mentioned earlier, we all had the flu. My daughter has had no appetite since she's been sick. We have been trying to feed her whatever we can. I think her tastebuds are off because food she normally likes, she doesn't like. It is not that she hasn't eaten ANYTHING, just not as much as normal. Last night she did tell me she was hungry, and I made her a pbj sandwich (her favorite), but she fell asleep. Tried to get her to stay awake to eat it, she wouldn't keep her eyes open. So, I let her rest.

This morning she only wanted some rolls for breakfast, tried to get her to eat eggs or cereal, but she just wanted the rolls. So I let her. FiL starts going off about how we didn't feed her last night and how the rolls aren't nutritious. This is the guy, mind you, that would feed them crackers and fortune cookies all day if he had his way. When we explained she wouldn't eat, he wouldn't believe us and saying we needed to force her. Sorta exploded from there into a big argument with my husband and I and FiL and MiL into all sorts of things.

Needless to say, we are at BiL's atm trying to find a place to stay until we can find something more stable. We are essentially homeless.

My brain doesn't want to process how we got to this point. I fail as a mom so hard atm.
