I had a fail/win last night at 3:30 am. A drunk driver decided to drive on the wrong side of the road and hit me head on. Thankfully I had just made the turn onto the road so it wasn't a high speed head on collision. Win is I wasn't badly injured, just bruised legs/abrasions and my right arm was singed by the airbag deploying. Shit stings . I only have 1 pic of the accident at the time, I was pretty out of it for the first half hour or so until I was able to collect myself. The cops took a bunch of picks and the guy was arrested and taken to jail. Gunna take some pics of the car in the impound lot though.

I've always been terrified of getting hit like this too. I survived this, although it not being a high speed one, but still. Maybe if I get into a few more I'll build a resistance to them so that I'll eventually be immune to them!.. lol

The 2nd fail is now my new car is badly damaged... Probably wont be totaled either so the repaint job will make it look poopy ....

Damn. I'm glad you're all right. We've had a lot of wrong-way head-on crashes around here in the past year or so and they always end very badly.

Couldn't play halo due to Xbox live being down, so I installed sunset overdrive, got past the tutorial then boom please wait for the game to install message.

Generally speaking if the airbags deploy and there's more than 5 - 7k in body, internal damage most companies consider it a loss.

Not to mention as long as the driver wasn't uninsured which is a possibility if they are fucked up enough to drive drunk you can negotiate that with their insurance company since I am sure their insurance will be taking care of you in any way you want right now.

Yeah the insurance guy said that in most older cars air bags = loss. But never models that might not be the case. Depends on how bad the damage to the rest of the car is and if the frame is bent or not. Going today to get a garage opener from the car and check out the damage.

I don't disagree with your statement. I play BF4 on PC mainly.

But every friday night and some weekend nights, 10-12 guys from work play Hardline on xone. On console the game just looks awful, but its a blast having a full squad of guys you know play.

Not many people I know have gaming computers, let alone current rigs that can crank out games at a max setting. Such is life.

I flipped a car completely and landed upright and since the engine still ran fine even as landing (landed in 8 feet of soft snow lol) they did 14,000 dollars of body work and sent the crap back to me. Granted it was a brand new car so maybe that forces autopac to try harder but still, it should have been written off.

The damage to my jeep wasn't surprisingly that bad. The other guys car... not so much. He blew a .115 according to the report. Also had possession of MJ less than 20grams. Kid was younger than me. He looked 30 though lol. Oh well

Went to the VA today to get my ID card. It's not exactly close to my apartment. So I get there and I give them all the identification and fill out the paperwork and they go to take my photo and it doesn't upload to the server, which is apparently national now. So they try again. And again. And again. And a total of 8 times they took my picture. Mind you, after each fail they have to reenter my information into the system. Eventually they give up because "the server must be down" so I basically spent about 45 minutes at the VA hospital and accomplished absolutely nothing.

And if that isn't indicative of the problems with VA health as a whole then I don't really know what is.

Oh well. I have an appointment scheduled anyway, and they've said I don't need to have my VA ID card in order to go to that. So I'll try again on that day.

Got home from work and was looking forward to some delicious as hell pernil leftover from yesterday. I was gonna pan fry the rest up and then splash some lime over it.

Found out my brother-in-law ate the rest of it. I legit want to punch a fucking hole into his free-loading ass chest.
