In the middle of playing theatrhythm for the first time in a month, and one of the neighbors starts screaming. Apparently has a huge oil fire in their kitchen and doesn't know how to put it out.. Rush in and douse it with 2 lbs of salt, fire is out. Now the entire apt smells like smelly oil and wasted all my sea salt. Why does the fancy salt have an easy screw-off cap and my cheapo salt have pour spouts

I wouldn't feel bad, I'd feel like cock punching a mother fucker. Unless you just didn't like the person, that's rude.

I will say: Once I knew a person who's boyfriend ate through his savings and he was forced to work at Walmart as a cashier. I didn't know this, and saw him while I was waiting in line and swapped lanes. He saw me afterwards and waived, and I waived back but I sure as hell didn't approach him and start trying to talk because it was suddenly awkward to a maximum degree.

Your situation though? Cock punch. You said hi so obviously you could talk to him.

The job market is shit, there's very little shame in taking a shit job to at least make a little bit of money. Especially if you have a family to support, something is still better than nothing.

Wife and I have been talking baby names since we found out she was expecting. We finally agreed on a male name over the weekend.

Monday the ultrasound indicated that we're having a girl, and we're practically nowhere on names there. The only combination we liked would have left her with the initials "ASS".

Second middle name solves that problem.

Just as long as that second middle name doesn't start with an E. Also, congrats. I'm hoping to have a daughter also when I eventually decide to get on the parenting crazy train.

Why not switch the first and middle names, and then just call her by the middle name anyway? We call my youngest son by his middle name.

    Also, congrats!

So today i'm doing a job on the edge of a big some what well off estate (cheapest house is 700k+) after 5 mins or so this little old lady walks up to us and asks if she can drop some garden waste on the van, sure no problem you just carry on, comes back 5 mins later and tells us the back gate is open can we get it now, i explain we are doing a job already and it's not worth losing our jobs over to do her a favor, she explains she is going to the doctors to get her husbands prescription and is disabled due to MS, sadly since my Grandfather had MS i understood how hard it can be for someone to take care of someone with MS during the later stages (she said he was in a wheelchair unable to walk) since everyone else i was with pulled there faces and cringed i offered to go, before she sets off she asks me to close the door once i've finished and its only a little bit of brash, walk into her garden there's literally a van load of brash in her garden wrapped around fences and barbed wire, but still none the less feeling sorry for her husband i carried on doing this took about 10 mins, as soon as i finish everyone i was with hastily rushed over to me asking how much money did i get i need to share it, i received no money it was just a good deed for a wife who loves her husband, i walk back into the garden to put back all of there tools and a wooden miniature windmill I'd knocked over removing the brash, as i turned around i can see an elderly gent in there back room dancing around the house like it was 1999, i have never felt so sicked and ashamed of people as i did today

Maybe he was having a "good" day.

Weather stripping in the drivers side door came off last week. Not sure how but one day I was getting out and it pulled off the frame and I got tangled up in it, almost busting my ass getting out. Took a look at it and found it had separated from the part that went in to the groove all the way around the frame of the door so had to take needle nose pliers and a lot of cursing and smoking to get all the dry-rotted mess out. Shopped around and found the best (and cheapest) solution was to take it to the dealer or try the junk yard. Went to the junk yard and dropped $30 on one out of a slightly older model car (Honda Accord). Went to go put it on my car thinking the body style was almost the same and could make it work. Turns out it was too small and I didn't think to buy the silicone paste to put in the groove before I started so had to pull it all out again, ruining the whole thing.

Get pissed and just take it to the dealer. Fork over almost $300 for them to "fix it". Driving home one night and it was lightly raining but it seemed to hold up ok and wasn't leaking so thought all was good. Parked in the lot behind the station (uncovered) and go to shift. Come back out and it had rained a pretty good amount over the night. Didn't see any moisture inside of the car at first glance so open the door to find standing water on the drivers side floor (about an inch). Take a look at the repair job and found the dealership had cut out most of my botched work and segmented a few pieces in to the stuff they tried to cut out but I guess they couldn't, which essentially made the weather stripping in to a channel that fed the water running through the cracks in the door right on to the side arm panel and on to the floor and seat. Lay down a poncho and drive the shit home with my feet soaking in the water just under the gas and brake peddles. Call up the dealership with almost 100% sincerity that it was just a mistake on their part and wasn't too pissed, and was advised I had waived my right to have the repair work covered under a "repair order warrantee" (whatever the fuck that is) and that there was nothing they could do. Sad part about that is I don't remember signing anything and supposedly you have to ask for it at the counter even though they never offered it.

Oh, that would be a trip to a lawyer, after getting a copy of this supposedly signed form. That seems unethical.

I'd be in there bitching to a manager that no one explained that before hand and if they don't fix it you're going to go on a personal crusade to let every single person ever know that they stole 300$ from you.

And yes, they stole 300$ if they provided a service that they didn't fulfill (you still have water in your car when it rains) and now refuse to fix it because of the fine print in something you signed that they failed to explain.

It is unethical. It's also illegal in most states. You (Nephlite) paid for a job to be done and they didn't do it correctly. Make them fix it. Show them your badge

This morning, on the way to work, there were 7 cars either in the guard rail, grass, or ditch in a 17 mile stretch. It rained yesterday then cleared up overnight. By 6am there was a little freezing fog and the roads were frozen on the shoulders. Not black ice or anything slippery like that, just more of a dusting that made everything white. I tried my hardest to slide around and break the back end loose. I could not do more than a few yards drifting before my truck caught traction each time. How the fuck can so many people wreck their cars just because there is a little bit of ice on the sides of the road? It's time to revoke licenses for idiots that can't drive just because they see ice on the side of the road.

To go along with Ace's post. I was up at my girlfriends place last night and there was a bit of a snow storm, nothing major only 4 inches or so. It still took me 2 hours to get home on a trip that normally takes 30 minutes. People get 7 different kinds of retarded when the snow starts falling...

Americans get all kinds of retarded when theres snow, dont get it mixed up. ive run into a handful of canadians who drive like retards cause its snowing, and usually when i speed past them, i see its an immigrant behind the wheel...

I wish people would understand that driving 30 in a 50 (km/h, not miles) is more likely to cause an accident than prevent one, snow or not. Compensate for the slippery roads by breaking earlier for reds/stops, not going slower so you can still break at the last second.
