Random Fail: First World Problems

Lost my sound bar remote and have to get up to adjust the volume occasionally. I can only remember last having it on my recliner couch and I have torn it apart every way I can think. Turned over my single recliner and the sleeper sofa and found nothing. I'm beginning to think it got thrown away unless it is hung on a bar somewhere inside the furniture. I know it'll turn up as soon as I buy a replacement.

If it's anything like ours it's tiny as fuck and falls into the cushion constantly. Like smaller than a playing card. We keep saying we're going to velcro it to the damn couch.

I've left mine in the refrigerator before ... crawl around looking under the sofa then say, "Fuck it, I give up," only to get up and get a snack two hours later and see it sitting there in the fucking fridge.

I've had sore chests for a few days, up to two weeks even, after going through a cold. I think I pulled a muscle from the constant coughing and sneezing. It went away eventually. YMMV.

Ditto on the ymmv, it's not fun when it lasts a long time.

I've been dealing with costochondritis for almost a year. Don't know how it exactly happened, but an idea of how.

Costochondritis is typically diagnosed as a failure to find another complication creating chest pain. They don't know where or why it's causing pain, but they do know other serious heart or lung problems aren't the reason.

Last August I went dirt biking during a long weekend. On Saturday we went for a long ride from sea level past the alpine near the peak, and just a short local ride and dip in the lake on Sunday.

We planned to ride Whistler's mtb park on Monday and that's when I knew something was wrong. I felt it the night before and it was much more pronounced the next morning. Driving two hours there I felt it on every turn or motion I made. After only two runs at the park I called it quits, I had sharp pain on any deep breaths or any quick motion.

It continued like that for two weeks and I was able to take deep breathes, cough or move without any pain. That was around September. Since then the pain would come and go. After those two weeks it would come and go very frequently, with very strong chest pain to none at all. Between September until around April/May it was such a slow recovery, really scared. Now I'm at the point where it comes and goes with days in between any pain at all. The pain is incredibly subtle now when it appears as well, it'll be completely gone soon.

I'm not an idiot, this was a very serious health issue. I saw =several= doctors aside from my family doctor. I went through an ecg test, x-ray, blood test, urine sample(might as well), and which took incredible persuasion; a spiral ct scan of my upper body. Nothing came up, nada, otherwise healthy guy.

I think most people would be surprised at just how much guesswork and trial-and-error goes into a person's medical care.

The decisions doctors make about what medications you take are often just a matter of randomly picking from a list of options to treat a specific symptom. And the thing about that is, it leaves some room for your personal preference.

I do think I just pulled a muscle. At least I hope compared to other possibilities googling my symptoms gives me anyway. Sometimes I feel like a lil pop in my chest though. It doesn't hurt but I feel it. Not thinking thats a good sign but overall the pain seems to be getting weaker rather than stronger/spreading.

So my refund check was delivered on Wednesday and the person who signed for it never gave it to the GM. It's just been sitting there with no one having a fucking clue.

I've been close to a mental breakdown over this and we were actually physically here last night and the GM said he didn't have it. FedEx tracking says an employee signed for it WEDNESDAY so yes, you are incompetent.

If they did indeed lose it I'm wondering if we have any legal recourse.

You take them to fucking claims court. They owe you a shitload of legally recorded money. You have a paper trail.

Dude not even fucking joking this dealership has no business selling anything let alone vehicles. They were like " Oh we can't find it but we never throw anything away so it must be here" THE FUCK.

Then 5 minutes later GM comes out to our car says he found it like it's no big deal. FUCKING RIDICULOUS but we have it in hand fuck.
