Scorpions live all over the U.S., not talking about Fallout mutated scorpions or anything, they are pretty tiny, and not poisonous to humans. Smaller ones permeate wooded areas in the south, and then you've got your desert scorpions from Texas and on west.
Well played. Yeah the scorpions we get around here are little brown things that crawl up the plumbing and in the cracks around doors. They are venomous but their sting feels like a bad bee sting and that is about it. Very painful but not dangerous. They live in the woods and are pretty common.
I am fucking furious. Some fucking asshole stole my GFs Engagement ring
Whats really shitty is even though I bought the insurance(Probably the smartest move I've made in a long time), the insurance covers the price I paid, not the actual price(2500 down to like 1700 I think). So, any replacement will be a shittier quality.
Fucking super cunt, I am so pissed off right now
I thought this was about a deposit for something until I got to the bit about quality.
That stinks.
Happened to my wife same thing I had insurance. It didn't quite cover the exact same ring but it covered my money into it. It might not be much of a consolation but in the end it really didn't matter. She still loved the new ring. We have been married 7 years now (our anniversary was yesterday) and it really hasn't effected anything.
It was a really stressful time when it happened though.
gF's friend is a manager at a grocery store. Merchandiser was opening up a case of bananas and a giant wolf spider appears. Dude freaks out and calls the butcher over. He shows up with knife in hand only to see it run away underneath a skid.
It has been 3 weeks and the spider has yet to be found. Fuck, I would hate to work there. Death match could happen at any time.
It must be cleansed with fire.
Minor fail: today is my mom's birthday. Every year, I have the uncanny ability to call her to wish her a happy birthday right when she's sitting down at a restaurant and getting ready to eat. No matter what time I call her, every single year. Never fails.
Well, can't be much of a bother at this point then. Everyone has to expect it.
As long as everyone gets a laugh out of it I'd consider it a winning fail.
A student athlete that I personally coached in 2 different sports committed suicide over the weekend, he was 15. The fail is, it doesn't even phase me.
