Dude, Melena, send that back to him please.
Dude, Melena, send that back to him please.
Just send him a link to a website with business email etiquette on it.
I'm having a stressful day and that just fucking broke the camel's back. The amount of incompetent shitty fucking emails I get from people like this makes me fucking rage.
Holy shit I'm upset.
Do you guys have that one person who always sends the entire contents of their e-mail in the subject line, often in all caps? Because I've had someone like that at each of my last three jobs.
Subject: JULIA I NEED YOU TO TAKE CARE OF THIS REQUEST FOR ME BEFORE I LEAVE AT 4:30 CAN YOU LET ME KNOW WHEN IT'S DONE
Body:
Reading emails from my supervisor requires Rosetta Stone or some shit like that. Benefit of the doubt, he is complete Fresh off the Boat Chinese, but for fuck sakes, at least spell everything correctly before you hit the send button so I don't have to guess what word you're trying to use. Ya know that red squiggly line on Outlook? That means "Fix This Shit!"
I love you for all this. I was seriously fucking appalled at the grammar and lack of understanding how you approach and address issues. First fucking rule is you never bring personal shit into it.
Fuck this fucking place. I hope this actually does affect things so they learn what accountability at all levels means.
It will affect them instead.
Of course you damage a company's reputation when you write a bad review. That is the entire point of public reviews. Consequences suck sometimes.
To put it in childish terms that even General Personally Offended can understand: You did something bad and your customer was there to tell you what you did that was bad. Now fix it and never email anyone ever again.
shitty work emails are one thing; working for people that are entitled and try to demand shit get done on their own timeline is a completely different monster. while i'm personally an asshole and love tellin muthafuckas no, the ways they try to circumvent the process is infuriating, and when i catch them, their shit typically takes the long trip to the bottom of my work pile. fuck yall.
I know this feeling well. At my old job we had a request form that people were supposed to fill out, that way it kept everything organized so that we knew which things needed to be done, and it formed a queue. People were constantly e-mailing me to try to circumvent it and I flat-out ignored them on the regular, with the approval of my supervisor. They'd get butthurt and I'd tell them to use the form, that's what it's there for. You ain't special bitch. Get in line.
I've read Melena's posta bout the car. I skimmed the yelp review. I did not read the response. THis is not my situation and I'll be damned if I'm gonna get huffy after a great day over someone else's bullshit. I know myself and I'd be mad just like you. Sorry Melena/Astylla.
I'm glad you'll never buy a Ford again by the way. I have no personal vendetta against Ford but you traded in a *Honda Civic* for *insert anything here Ford* and that is a huuuuuge downgrade in my book.![]()
I wonder how often people are able to cut through the bullshit and see the honest reviews. We get a lot of negative reviews for our theatre because people are pissed off when we catch them trying to rip us off. Charge them the adult price when they use the automated kiosk to buy a child ticket. Bad review. Refuse to sell an R rated ticket to somebody without ID. Bad review. Don't accept competitors free passes. Bad review. I've had tons of people threaten to leave a bad review if I refuse to give them exactly what they want.
most people are capable of smelling a whiny bitch a mile away
if i have to read yelp to get a better review pool, i try to look at both the best and worst and weed through the promotional ones or the "they didn't sell chicken nuggets at this italian place and my kid was SAD" bullshit
We get a bit of that here. I usually ask those folks to send me a reminder email so I don't forget and get them to add my Manager in there. The art group I'm in deals with a lot of last minute, time consuming requests, that can affect a lot of other timelines for things that people properly requested and scheduled.
In fact, we started doing a queue last year to get it under control and there was some snarky attitudes from the people here about not being able to come to us directly. No one was saying they couldn't do that, but we were saying that you'll have to get in line with everyone else.
I had a 2012 Ford Fusion and I was quite happy with it. It had more features than a Honda Accord of the same cost, drive was smoother, and I got more incentives at Ford than I did Honda. The only thing that went wrong with the car (other than a forklift or something taking out my passenger quarter panel) was one of the vent fans ticked a little bit at first start up. Kinda like an old PC case fan.
Ford dealerships are just crap. I just recently bought a car. I was looking into ford till on July 4th weekend I went to see sales and found out they are closed Friday to Sunday. Who the fuck is closed three days a week, forget that, who is closed on the weekend of one of your biggest holiday sales?
I loved my ford truck, but fuck that. I can't even imagine what it be like to get the new car serviced with them closed that much.
