Random Fail: First World Problems

Did you go IUD or just pill/ shot? I absolutely refuse to get an IUD due to various issues but I've heard it can be rough at first. I had a horrific cycle pain wise last month so I know it too well.

I got an IUD, and it cramped like hell going in, so I guess that's what I have to look forward to this week. But I have read that once your body adjusts, you might end up getting out of periods and all that bullshit that goes with them altogether. I'm hoping that's the case. We'll see.

Yeah I can't even handle a simple procedure without being put under so for me it's just a no go. Keep an eye on things because it's not as uncommon as they make it out that complications arise. I have PCOS and that's bad enough without the insertion pain. I'm sure they already recommend it but 800mg ibuprofen can help.

Some good ideas. I've actually considered doing Lego commission builds, but I don't know how I'd actually market that. Kind of a small niche, I think. And I need to be careful how much I earn/save. Too much and I lose all my benefits, and the limit is depressingly low. Not enough to live on w/o said benefits. And I'm still actually disabled; I'm feeling much better, but everything is relative.

I think classes are my best bet. I'll have to look at what's available online.

Living at the hottest part of LA city limits, newspaper says 103 forecasted for my area.... My car thermometer said 106 on the way home from work. Tomorrow forecasts 105... which means at least 108. FFS I'm only 10 miles from the beach but this fucking mountain range is blocking the sea breeze. And it's gonna get all humid, too. Heat index gonna make the next two days SUCK.

But I do have AC. Central air is a godsend.

We had AC in our first apartment in California together from 2009 to 2012 but couldn't justify paying 1850/month for a 1 bedroom under 650 Sq feet.

We found a 2 bedroom around 850 Sq feet for 1250/ month at the time so no AC was worth it. We are in a different area that typically cools down fast thankfully. Now we're paying closer to the 1800 but it's also 4 years later after shitty management changes, though I like ours now. Typically there is about 3 weeks total of the year where it's miserable. It's just usually not all at once.

Ceiling fans, tower fan and a screen door to let cool air in helps once the sun goes down.

I live in CA but rent around here isnt that high. jesus. The apartment we use to live in was $1100, central air, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and garage. But its the deserts so no one wants to live here lol.

Most houses in SD (at least) do not have central air. I have considered moving back to FL because everything build there has AC. I am moving soon and idc how much extra I will be paying but I will have AC. I cannot take another summer of this, it really does drive me insane. I get completely fucking useless. THere is no will to do ANYTHING. Not at home anyway. If you're at home, best get a book or cable/netflix because fuck doing any kind of moving.

I don't tend to rant much on BG anymore, but the heat I could on and on and on and on about because all I can do is try to stay as still as possible and not start breaking things left and right. Like, have you ever seen a grown man cry? I'm not a man but if I was, I'd go ahead and upload a nice little video of a sobbing man, broken because of no AC. Fuck.
