And Blackhawks fans.
Shea has everyone covered http://grantland.com/hollywood-prosp...-dragon-blade/
Also, Dragon Blade made a shitload of money in China. Like 100 million or more. Payday for Cusack and Brody.
It's fucking 107 heat index outside work. Thankfully my walk to the bus is 5 minutes and timed it to only wait 2 minutes. We're flying to Anaheim tonight which is at a 117 heat index currently fuuuuck. BUT it's supposed to be high 80s this weekend so that's so much better and we'll have a hotel room that has air conditioning.
I'm starting to be very happy I selected a dark restaurant for dinner Friday because fuck the heat. Great food and wine here I come.
Ugh the heat kills all romantic feelings for my wife and I. When it gets hot we just lay on either side of our bed in a puddle and feel miserable. I can't wait till it cools down. (though I am in California so my complaint about the heat is relative) I can't imagine you suckers sitting at 100+ with high humidity.
You are in Castro Valley right? When I was in college in SF we lived in Castro Valley because my wife worked for Lawrence Livermore Labs. She had issues with the lack of BART extension to Livermore too lol. Then we moved to Pleasanton so she could drive to work and I rode BART all the way into the city. BART in the summer in the heat riding over the hill into Pleasanton was terrible. Those trains start to get ripe inside when they heat up.
Yeah we literally live on the border Castro Valley and Hayward at 580/238. I'm actually on BART now in the coldest fucking car haha. But yeah it is misery for so many I know. Now I just search for the best car if I can. They still are working on extending BART out ugh. Not fast enough.
It's definitely not fun to commute everyday into the city I understand. I take it daily from San Leandro to Pleasanton and it doesn't bother me but I've been using public transit since I was a kid. I know people that sware they will be shot or killed riding it and I just laugh.
I actually find it really convienent for the airports, going to SF and sports events. Honestly if not for it I would have very limited job opportunities so it helps me.
Got the final offer from the PSTA; after nearly 2 years, I just said screw it since my lawyer didn't think we'd get any more than that in trial.
Not happy with the amount I'm ending up with. Settlement was for 12k, 3k to lawyer, 4.7 to medical. Get no spending money out of this (since all goes to student loans) and have a fucked up shoulder for the rest of my life.
You'd think you would get more when you get hit by a damn bus and it's a hit n run
I never felt unsafe on BART. I lived in Oakland near the west oakland bart station for a while that was a sketchy neighborhood but really I just hate BART because it breaks down all the time. Or at least it did when I was riding it. I really didn't like being stuck in the tunnel under the bay for over an hour or all the other times the train I was on got stuck.
Oh yea the breakdowns now are more "random idiot near tracks" but yeah it needs an upgrade.
Bart can be amusing. Between the random insane people who like to preach loudly on a crowded train, pan handlers, and the occasional wannabe gangstas trying to act tough. Best was waiting to leave the station, it was the starting point so the train sits for a few minutes before departing, some idiot stepped off the train to smoke on the platform, left all her shit on the train and the second she exited, the doors shut and the train departed.
just fucked my wife to the weeknd and now she prob pregnant with triplets. GOD DAMN YOU, ABEL, YOU AND YOUR STUPID SEXXXY MUSIK
Quints buddy. It's coming.
