Random Fail: First World Problems

Idid my workout video yesterday for the first time in months. I almost fell downstairs yesterday because my legs were jello and today the fronts of my thighs feel so tight sitting on the toilet is a challenge

Waited almost 90 minutes for my appointment at the VA before I had to just go up and reschedule it. I have one of my teacher cert exams this afternoon and I couldn't sit there all day today. There are few things worse than waiting for a doctor who's running behind.

Lawl no. Actually 30 day shred in my case. I have to modify things due to my carpal tunnel but I'm really happy I haven't lost any endurance. I'm trying to alternate it with walks every other day since my options are limited. Getting active and moving are most important and worth the pain lol

it's funny, my parents are usually not taken in by the media's fearmongering/sensationalism but Fonda came up once and my dad was all "she's a traitor" and shit. so i did some light research... shit just seems so overblown.

Sad but true. Though my own upbringing wasn't really spelled out like that , fear was instilled into me by mom who feared I'd just end up like my sisters with multiple kids by 20. So her solution was to never talk about it , ignorance is bliss type attitude. I ended up learning everything on the Internet or in person by trial and error.

Though I'm not having kids I really wish honest discussions were had so I could have attempted to understand better and be informed.

Lol, I was mostly talking about the abstinence-only education in schools these days, but yeah, parents suck too. My mom's talk was fantastic. We never really had "the talk" in terms of love/sex/etc, but one day when I was like 11 or 12 she grabbed a kitchen knife and told me "if you impregnate anyone before you're financially independent I'll cut your dick off." Thanks, mom.

No I totally get your point I kind of went off on a tangent and didn't finish LOL.

But yeah I grew up in Florida in the late 70s early 80s so there was no sexual education anyway. Nothing much is changed in Florida however I mean come on. Regardless of how the talks come with or be in the school system or from family parents etc. I just think that the fear does not do anything but make people want to rebel in the first place. As humans were curious creatures to begin with then when you withhold information from us our first instinct is to question why at least it is for me.

Had the beginning of an ingrown toenail on my right big toe, so I dug it out over the weekend. Come Monday, it was looking better but sore as hell. Hard to walk sore. After exacerbating that by walking around campus to classes, I decided to soak said foot. On the way to the bathroom to get some hot water, I accidentally slammed my left foot into the door jam. Left pinky toe now hurts just as much.

I feel every inch of that pain. I just got one cleared up from over September. Fucking corners and door jambs should be illegal.
