Ended up getting a mediumplan for a little over $80 a month and a dental plan for about $12. So yea. I'm uh, not used to these things and now I get to use them soon. Excite because I shoulda been going to the dentist way more often. I kinda just let life.... go for a while. Good feeling though, this getting back on track thing.

Might move to Canada after school though, apparently they're all healthy bastards over there.

It's 10 hours a month at national minimum wage to cover that. That's cheap as shit even in a flyover state. Also, if you're making too little for that you are likely qualified for free coverage. In NY you get Medicaid coverage for anything under ~8.25 an hour.

$70/month is really fucking good . My employer pays for mine but I pay for dental $17/ every two weeks. If I was paying out of pocket it would be around $350/month

I have Florida Blue through my work, which covers a majority of the cost, and I end up paying around $140 a month. My general practitioner co-pay is $25 and insurance covers the rest. Prescription cost covers 80% I believe. I also get X amount of specialist visits per year (not sure, haven't needed to use one). Emergency care is 100% but I have a $10,000 deductible to meet first...so yeah. Hope I never have to use that.

Those deductibles scare me. I'm really glad I have VA Health because if I had to carry around a $5k deductible I would never seek healthcare, even if I thought for sure I was gonna die. I just don't have that kind of pocket change.
