Remember the ex-Marine(I don't know the reason) that recently is out of a job (I don't know the reason) that knocked up my then-19 year old sister, yea? Welp. Let me first say that the baby was born a couple months ago, I might have mentioned that on here. And last week the baby was sick and took her to the hospital/doctor a couple days ago and came home. Same day, I think but not prevalent.

Annnnnd that's how half of the family home I grew up in was burnt. Not really to the ground, roof is still holding up but definite damage and a lot of water damage from the firetrucks. I haven't seen pics and I don't know much. I am ASSUMING the baby was in the room and that the bed caught on fire first from a candle spark(a candle exploded were the words my mother used) because she said "thank goodness the baby wasn't on the bed." My mother and sister were out shopping.

I have no idea if this fucker lives with them, I should have had this information, I feel like. Or maybe he was just there watching the baby, idk. But it's like the plague or a pox follows this man around, jesus christ what problems is he going to bring our family next.

I cannot imagine watching my home burn down. I lived there for 20+ years and my parents 24 years. (More, I think) I cannot imagine watching my MOTHER watch her home burn down, wondering whether or not they could save any of it. I am so shocked by all of this. She has worked so hard for this family, for that house. So, so, so... so very hard. And so has my father in keeping renovations and the land clean. Like, goddamn at all of this.


That all said, I have a friend with a good camera going out in the morning to take clear pics of the outside. I... really need to see this for some reason. I am in Cali, them FL (for those who don't know).

Ordered 4 tickets to Canada's Superbowl (Grey Cup) for tomorrow back in June. Ticketmaster now saying I need to come to the booth on game day and have them print out tickets on just generic ticket stubs instead of the commemorative ones I ordered.

I'm waiting on pictures of the damage before I make any type of GoFundMe. Mom says the sides of the house and roof are still in rather good standing so the outside may not look too damaged. Brick houses are built pretty sturdy. Most of the damage is water based and going to be costly, but yes, I'm thinking about it. More of a FWP for my mom. She wanted to get an iPhone but she is awful about technology (she has an iPad though so at least she has prior knowledge of how ios works). She has verizon and we tried to get her to switch because she's paying too much. Verizon offered her a free iphone though to stay with her, and they sent it in the mail. So today she goes to a Verizon store to have them set it up, and they say they don't know how to because it's one of those verizon premium stores. What in the actual fuck. Don't be a verizon store if you can't even help set up the fucking phone. Looking at google maps and my mom has to go far to the mall to get to an actual verizon store or best buy, and she is too nervous to drive that far.

About to start calling these verizon premium stores and give them a piece of my mind on how they are a bunch of morons if they don't know how to set up the same phones they sell.
