Flight landed 40 minutes ago. My next flight leaves in 5 minutes apparently. We're sitting near the gate, as it's occupied. But the silver lining is that this is the plane I'm supposed to get right back on. Otherwise I'd be rather fucked.

Just fucking fly Southwest and stop bitching lol. I mean I've flown Spirit but I knew what I was getting into and it was fine for Vegas and back from CA.

If you know what days to book and how to watch for deals you shouldn't have issues getting decent prices flights to most destinations.

Not going to lie, I don't understand what the fail is. Maybe I am misunderstanding your post.



My fail: Had an accomplished day getting Xmas Cards and Santa done. Had to go pick up one of the kids' Xmas gift afterwards that should have taken about 20 minutes to get there. Get on the highway and it is dead stopped. A bunch of cars (including us) ended up driving off the on ramp to get out since no one was moving. Google maps had us go the wrong way for side streets (looked like a road connected on the map but it actually didn't). Ended up looping back towards where we got off with insane traffic. As we are driving we saw the highway and there was a man walking on the edge. Thankfully, according to a news report, the police were able to convince the guy not to jump. We ended up having to go back on the highway where we had initially gotten off and it ended up being about an hour and fifteen minute drive to get to Toys "R" Us.

Now, I really don't want to complain about what caused the traffic, and I am super glad to hear the guy is all right. I hope he gets whatever he needs to not feel like that is the answer.

What really is the fail and what pissed me off was the amount of rubbernecking going on the lower streets driving where you could see the guy. Soooo many front yards were full of people with their phones out and their kids all watching to see if the guy jumps. It made me sick to my stomach. I just kept thinking, "This guy's possible death is your entertainment?" One dude even had binoculars to make sure he got a good view. What's worse is that many cars kept stopping for long periods of time, and I blame them more for the side-street traffic than the guy.

Didn't know that having my flight leave a full two hours after its scheduled time didn't belong in this thread. -.- So fuck off with the "quit bitching" shit. It had nothing to do with the airline and everything to do with the fucking shitfucks that made a threat at the airport today that clogged everyfuckingthing for hours.

Your post says nothing remotely like that though, so how were people supposed to know? Your post sounds like you waited 40 minutes and are waiting for people to clear out the plane. It sounded like you only waited 40 minutes which is like the ideal layover imo.


Don't get me wrong, a two hour delay does completely suck, but there is zero way we would have known that's what you were upset about. So I wouldn't get all mad at people responding the way they did.

No we were literally stuck on the plane, I guess I was too pissed to type properly. We were stuck on the fucking plane on the tarmac for over an hour.

Fail: I FUCKING HATE MUMBLE. I think it's a SHIT program and the only reason the people I talk to use it is because its free. Ventrilo has that shit beat hands down. God fuck mumble. 30 minutes spent trying to figure out WHY NO SOUND from anything else wouldn't play through my headset. Stupid setting in mumble that makes is exclusive apparently, had to uncheck it. Fuck I am mumble-retarded and I can't stand this shitty program.

I'm home less than 12 hours and I get stuck behind an accident for 25 minutes. We weren't moving for at least 10, then people started to turn around and drive on the shoulder. It was one of the bridges, which are known bottlenecks. So I get turned around and basically back to the major intersection near my apartment and I realize there's no way in hell I will make my 9:30 class. I leave 2 hours early for it for this very reason, but going from where I live to the next bridge over would have taken me another 25-30 minutes itself, not to mention the normal buildup of rush hour traffic in addition to everyone else who had been rerouted in this direction.

So now I'm home, I'll go out for my 3:30 class and try again. Welcome home, Aks, enjoy your warm weather while you roast in your car on a major highway.
