Random Fail: First World Problems

Ordered an SSD on 24th through Newegg, sent to DHL on the 25th, didn't update afterward. Live chat today since they never responded to my email on the 30th, and they offered to investigate it for 3-5 days, then ship 7-10 days after that.

Requested a refund instead after that, and they said my money would be returned in 3-5 days as well. Amazon from now on I guess. Shame I've spent ~$5k on Newegg over the years and have never had any issues.

Yeah Newegg has really went downhill lately. Possibly a case of them getting too big for their britches? If the deal is too amazing I'll still shop there, but they are hardly my #1

I bought my house about a year ago or so with a FHA mortgage. If anyone here has FHA they know shit has to be tight and right to get it. Originally had homeowners with Auto Owners and all was gravy. Since I moved and now my friend rents the house from us I put a Dwelling Fire policy on the home (you must do this if you do not live in the residence). Auto Owners was a bit more than Foremost so I went with them on the new policy. Get a notice they will cancel my policy due to a deteriorating roof and not having a handrail for three stairs leading up to the front door. Not surprising since I used to work in insurance and I know why they are doing it, but still, get fucked Foremost.

speaking of newegg going downhill, i'm glad i got my pc when i did. they got rid of newegg preferred, which is what i used to purchase it. they replaced it with some other shit, but im sure it's not going to be as nice as Preferred was. Can't beat 0 interest for 12 months!

Woke up with a nasty migraine this morning, I have a final in a few hours.

The only painkillers I have in my apartment are Hydrocodone, which fucks me up and makes me feel a bit loopy, but it's marginally better than the migraine. So while I'm now feeling relief from the pain, I am also feeling a bit lightheaded. I hope that by 1, when I have to leave, everything will have evened out and I'll be fine.

Luckily, this is the class for which I could skip the final and still end up with a B, so if I show up and take the test I don't think I could possibly fuck it up bad enough to even ruin my A.
