Anyone have connections with any airlines for a cheaper fare? Pretty much hit the pinnacle of depression today and I want to see my family. (I don't know if I posted that part of the family home burned down the day after Thanksgiving.) That entire week was shit for my family.

I just... wanna go home.

Yeah I think it's somewhere in the rules for most airlines you agree to when flying to actually do the whole flight. On the other hand people might change their minds without even knowing it might have saved them money. I've certainly booked some flights only to midway thru go wait why the fuck is the last stop close enough to the last layover that you could drive faster

I'd worry less about mileage account and more about being blocked from flying on an airline.

Bah so now that the rain is washing all that drought dried up dirt into the road the road sweepers of course do a really good job of sweeping it right into the bike lane... even when the bike lane is between 2 cars lanes they still find a way to put it all the shit in the bike lane. Which of course means all the other stuff that was in the road that hadn't been being swept is there now too.

So of course after a year of no flats (basically since I got new extra thick tubes) including pulling decent sized thorns out of them I wake up today to a completely flat tire. Pump it up to find the hole and it's really more of a decent sized gash and there is still a chunk of glass in my tire. FU street sweepers sweep the whole goddamn street.

Also people drive super stupid and slow in the rain after not having much for awhile. I got splashed by the same bus 6 times yesterday on my way home on a road with a 35 MPH limit because I kept passing it due to a combination of it going slow and there apparently being a stop every 2 blocks
