No, because the bird has never let me down, whereas people have, many, many times.
(I know you're just giving me a hard time but I'm being honest here.)
This is why I can't have animals. I don't get attached to them and I'm not sure I want to. Makes life more... difficult.
but i totes want a lil corgi or shibu inu and omg a kitttty i want a kitty
My fat cats never let me down. I'd go to war for them.
I swear, when I get a house of my own, I'm going to be the crazy cat lady of my neighborhood, and I've already resigned myself to that fact.
But I won't have only cats, I'll have some more birds and a dog or two as well. Might as well go all out.
I've already got the "crazy" part down, haven't I? lol. I'll probably get a cat. And maybe a dog as well. I don't exactly relish the thought of smelling like cat piss 24/7. Really, the only reason I don't have a cat already is because of apartment pet deposits.
Lend your bird to CS, it will give him something to do![]()
Guy called in mad because he was waiting on hold for 25 minutes to get someone on the phone (understandable). He asks me to tell him if he'll be waiting on hold on Christmas Eve. He literally wanted me to tell him if he would be waiting on hold even for 1 minute on Christmas Eve. I told him I couldn't answer that and he told me to shove it up my ass. That has been my day from 8:45am-now.
After almost six years my sunglasses decided to break. Wife pulled hers out of the case and my frame was slightly bent and a lens popped out.
My team at work has been put on on notice we may (read: probably will) need to fly down to northern california to work in one of our hubs. Have to keep our work phones on 24/7 through Christmas to be on standby, where we'll be expected to pack up, fly out, and report to work 12 hours after we get a call. Will end up being 16+ hrs a day with no days off through the holiday. All of this while I'm trying to learn my new job (was promoted in November). No pressure.
Fuck.
My first purchase in life was a pair of sunglasses in '95. I was about 10 years old, saved up mowing yards to buy some ridiculous Oakleys. Yeah, the Pro M-frame, the ones that didn't bend. I cracked the frame once around 2000, got it replaced (lifetime warranty). They're still holding on strong, after almost getting lost at the bottom of Lake of the Ozarks. I mostly wear them now when I'm riding my bike - they fit comfortably under my helmet. They are absolutely absurd looking; I look like Jeff Bagwell / Craig Biggio.
My gf says they'll be cool again if I can make it another 10 years.
Back from vacation last night and both of us have spent all day sick in bed.
The fail is that he wasn't smart enough to sequester himself away from you and your sickness.
But seriously being sick on vacation sucks ass.
i guess he's
down with the sickness
Get up, come on!
