It smells like a mixture of cheap weed, skunk, and farts coming out of our ac/heating vents.

And to continue with idiot customers guy is wanting to make an appointment for sometime "this week". Ie he wants it Christmas eve or Christmas. And now he's asking for the day after Christmas even after us saying we don't send the truck out on the weekends anyways <.<. And of course telling him we'd have to call someone in on his day off on Christmas eve doesn't phase the guy... though he did suggest we could do it on new years <.<. Seriously there is no way this needs to be done soon. The stuff has most likely been sitting around for years already another week or 2 is fine
Edit: Now coworkers saying it's cold and gotta keep all the doors to the office closed. Mind you it's 3 people in a not huge office so it's gets stuffy fast. Being told I must be running a fever... go and check and the thermostat says 75. Cold my ass
Hosted back to back Christmas gatherings for my immediate family and then wife's immediate family. I'm ready to murder someone.
Just got an e-mail from capital one. Somehow my capital one credit card got compromised and tapped out what was left of my balance at H&M clothing.
When my debit card was compromised last year, they went to Sephora and Dick's, which I thought was an interesting combination.
I don't envy you though, that sucks dude.
Ehh not that interesting. Makeup and sporting goods are two of the easiest things to sell on Ebay/Craigslist.
Have Razer Naga Epic and the right mouse button doesn't click/work. Had to rebind to a side key and now playing league is super awkward and I'm having to relearn hand coordination. Good news it's still under warranty!
Grandfather had a single car accident Tuesday, grandmother died on impact. He's 84 they haven't spent more then a few days apart in the 63 years they where married. Been spending as much time as I can with him. He has a fractured neck and shattered wrist, only 10% heart function left. The breathing tube they put down his throat yesterday was the hardest part yet. Then him waking thrashing around trying to pull the catheter out, glairing at us not sure what he needed at the time. Been a hell of a week. That and I'm sleeping odd times worse then usual.
Oh god, I'm so sorry for your loss.
Random Fail: stranger edition.
I'm on a dating website and was matched with someone. I took one look at their profile and realized they had made the classic oversharing internet mistake.
2 minutes with google and I had her work location and work e-mail address and her work schedule (teacher so I know literally where she will be a given time cause class schedule is on the school website).
Now if I was a stalker, this would be great. I, however, like women to be attracted to me and not be scared of me. Her profile on the website isn't current (you can tell cause no activity), but the system still matches her with people.
This means her information is being distributed to random guys, given enough time she will get a stalker because society is just f'd up that way.
How do I safely tell her to change her freaking profile without having her call the police cause I look like a stalker?
I'd try contacting the site's support.
Rather than shit up Obsidan's thread about my own pet, I'll post it here--
For a couple years now, my parents dog (we believe she's about six or seven years old now) has had issues with her back legs. If she'd overexert herself playing, running, or going for too long of a walk she'd be really sore for a few days and have trouble standing. Vet did x-rays a year ago and didn't see anything.
Yesterday, when I got to my parents, she was a little sore from a couple days ago but still up and active. Today we didn't actually have Christmas as my wont be in until Saturday, so it was mostly just us sitting around home. We went for a short walk to the neighbours to deliver a gift, and let her come along. She played and ran around, had a bunch of fun on the short walk (like, a quarter of a block).
When we got home, though, she started limping and wasn't able to stay standing. Any attempt to move much and she would buckle after a few steps and have to lay down again. So we spent most of the evening letting her stay in one place (usually she follows my parents around the house, never wanting to be left in a room alone for long) and gave her some medication the vet had given her that might help. That, plus a heating blanket and she seems to be a bit better but still not much.
My dad mentioned in passing that we might have to put her down, which we've never had to do with either of our two previous dogs, let alone one so young. He and the dog are very very close, so him even considering that enough to say it means he's pretty worried about her.
Edit: And then tonight when we took her out to use the bathroom she actually was a lot better, running around almost normal again.
what breed? i know hip dysplasia is a common ailment
Not totally sure, but Border Collie/Australian Kelpie are what the vet thought.
And, yeah he plans to call and get an appointment next week with a non rural vet. Looking at the symptoms, dysplasia does sound like what she does.
If he's half Border Collie I'll bet Bane's toilet paper it's hip dysplasia. Collie's are generally pretty healthy dogs but that's a disorder they are prone to.
