Been having abdominal pain for a while now that comes and goes at will, where all my organs are, not the intestines. Went to get an ultrasound to find out whats wrong and got the worst possible news

They also found some gallblader polyps, but at this time they arent a size that could be considered cancerous, thats also some potentially shitty news.

On the upside, you can hit them up for opiates and sell it for money because they will definitely prescribe them and opiates aren't going to fix what's wrong.

i could totally do that if i'd kept my mouth shut. opiates fuck up my shit in a bad way so i cant take them (except for a low dose of loperamide). alas, i have no interest in being a drug dealer so i had them put a note in my file that says not to prescribe opiates


so its like up under your rib cage, nynja? cos that shit is awful. if they dont know what it is, though, maybe it's something surprisingly easy to fix? maybe you're getting cramps or somethin. that wouldnt show up, but it hurts like crazy. anyway hope they figure it out soon. not knowin sucks. also hope it aint cancer.

My family is cancer... er gets cancer a lot. Like my grandma died of it, her daughter died of it my sister just finished doing reconstructive surgery because she finally finished treatment which ended in mastectomies... I still joke about it and do strange things like hump nuclear reactors but I wouldn't seriously wish it on someone.

Nothing seems to trigger it, it just seems to flare up at will. Sitting playing ps4, at work, after eating, after not eating, walking...

ask your doctor what they'd recommend for abdominal cramps, and if they think that might be a cause. my cramps are usually further down, but the digestive tract has muscles all through the whole thing. usually, they work in concert to squeeze your food/poo along, like a tube of toothpaste, but if they get out of sync or cramp up it fuckin hurts. similarly, if a gas bubble hits a tender area, it can be very painful. your digestive tract is a pressurized system.

Something you can do to help figure it out: keep a log of when the pain happens, what/when you eat, when you fart/poop, and the qualities of the result. you might think it's gross or silly but you can tell a lot about what's going on inside your guts by how your poo/farts looks and smells. it could be that you find that a while after you get a pain, you pass a large fart. certainly happens to me.


It might not be that, but those moving pains like that imply, to me, digestive shenanigans. obviously im a little biased to think that way, but its worth a shot.
