Really? I got out to visit Tyler once every month. I'm always amused at that long string of car dealerships that's down there. They finally finished that highway that improves my drive by so much.

I only drive down there at night after 8:00 to avoid the stupid on the road. XD

Small world in this topic. I have friends that live in Tyler and Whitehouse. They run a skydiving company in Gladewater. I haven't been out that way since 2003 though, so I haven't seen any of the new freeway projects.

_The_ new freeway project. And its only being built from the rich side of Tyler to the Dallas side of I-20 so that the people can escape faster and that they can make money on the tolls they collect. The rest wont be built until the 2020's.

And Airenn don't worry about it. It's not really something to be sad or pitied for, was like 2 years ago.
I think the story is just interesting and I don't mind telling it or the details. Since I'm fine, it's just a cool story to tell without people feeling shitty because I lost a limb or something.

So, I had a thing done today to help with my back pain. It's some freezing thing where they well, freeze the nerve that they believe is causing me pain and if it works it should give me 6 months to a year of pain relief.

The fail in this is that the freezing they give me before they ram large needles in my spine didn't fucking work. I don't know why that local freezing never works on me. I had the same issue when they removed 1 of the wires from my chest. Fucking christ, the wire and the freezing the spine thing fucking hurt so god damn much.

In a matter of a few days my desk chair broke, my ipod broke, my earbuds broke, I got sick (strep? not sure yet), and I have to use these awful sticky ear drops for 2 weeks because my goddamn earwax is broken too.

The ipod especially is driving me nuts because I just can't fix it. It won't stay connected to the computer for more than an instant, even in disk mode. Pretty sure the cable is okay because pc does recognize something is plugged in for an instant. Restarting the pc or ipod doesn't help and fuck upgrading itunes to 11. I don't really think that's the problem if the pc itself can't recognize it. Anyone else ever have this particular first world problem?

Funnily enough - the thing that helped it along (didn't fix it, but at least brought up the "connected" screen for an instant) was hulk smashing it in the back. I'm pretty sure this is happening because I dropped it at any rate, but violence seems to be the only potential answer here. Too bad it goes straight to "disconnecting... okay to disconnect" right after it says connected. D:

I so don't have the money for a new mp3 player either

Touched my wisdom tooth with my finger and part of it broke off. Apparently it's in much worse shape then I thought, possibly even exposed right now. My dentist has noted before that it needs to be removed, but apparently I need to get seen by them again for them to confirm it before they schedule me with an emergency appointment with the oral surgeon to get it removed. (So much bullshit.)

This possibly would have been handled a month ago but they wouldn't let me make any appointments for anything except "check ups and/or cleaning" until my insurance approved it, and my insurance is months behind answering everything because their main office literally went underwater because of the hurricane.

I had this problem with my Nano. It's almost like if you just look at it, even from 20 feet away, it will disconnect. Not sure if you are having the same exact problem, but as for mine, if I don't touch it at all, even if it sounds like it unplugged and isn't charging, it never actually unplugs and does sync (sometimes, when I was lucky) and continues to charge.

I actually ended up fixing it... for now, anyway. I finally smacked it in the right spot with the right amount of force. Honestly that's the only thing I could do to get it to work. Old fashioned solution, but it got the job done. Makes sense since it broke because I dropped it anyway (I assume).

Hahaha nvm as I typed this it ejected itself again. Fuck.

...Now it can't decide whether it wants to be connected or not.

And here's my first world problem for today, I ended up having to call off sick from a 6 hour shift because my sore throat turned into something hideous. Considering 6 hour shifts are like fucking unicorns right now (yeah I have one of those jobs that gives me less than 20 hours a week) it's gonna hit my already-terrible paycheck pretty hard. That's not to mention the fact that the god damn union that does jack shit for me takes an hour's worth of pay out of my paycheck every week.

My fridge broke about 2 weeks before I move. Too expensive to bother fixing for only 2 weeks of use so now im living off fast food since I dont wanna bother buying a cooler and ice every couple days.

Hard to eat healthy like this though and my stomach is paying for it.
