So, my parents finally got a chance to take their dog to a specialist. He took X-rays and does not think she has hip dysplasia. He poked, prodded, pulled and the only thing that got her to react was when he pushed on her spine. So, guessing she might have slipped, herniated, or bulging disc. She goes in for an MRI in a couple weeks.

Was just the cheaper option due to limited job opportunities here in Podunk, Ohio. Most everyone else on the plan was pretty good about wifi. We've had issues with one of my other sisters occasionally, but we're talking maybe one or two overages in a month every now and then, not a couple dozen.

I'm not really going to mourn the loss of the phone specifically, as anyone I really need to contact I can IM, email, or use a land line. I did occasionally use it to play games when out, though, which'll just hinge more on me leeching a restaurant wifi or something if it's an option. It's just stupid we've got one person fucking over the rest of the family. Of course, drama with this sibling has basically existed since we were kids. #middlechildproblems for me, I guess.

I have a spare. I can't put it on because the rims on my rear tires have a lock on the lug that I don't have a key for. AAA guy doesn't have a lug set for it, and being in bumfuck nowhere after 6pm means it gets towed home where I will get new tires tomorrow. Even if I could, though, I wouldn't use the spare because I was still 100+ miles from home. My AAA covers free towing for up to 100 miles so I will still have to pay for some of it but at least the majority of the tow is covered.

Did you lose your wheel lock keys then ? Hopefully if that's the case the dealership or tire place you choose will have in stock as depending on manufacturer there could be several types. We get guests constantly at Lexus who lose their wheel locks then are blindsided when we tell them we need the car here so we can match which wheel lock set it is as there is no one size fits all.

Former owner of the company I work for passed yesterday. He wanted us to find the fountain of youth if possible when he sold the company a few years back. Guy really took care of us and rewarded us for loyalty. For the 25th anniversary of the founding of the company, took the entire company and their family and friends to a 2 night stay at the Disney Grand Californian Hotel with 2 day park hoppers and had a bling party in a studio in California Adventures. That was for about 250-300 families. No small cost there when at the time it was about $500 a night per room.

It's not. I bought the truck pre-owned as is a couple years ago, and later discovered the issue when I went to get the tires rotated and ran into this same problem. A fail on my end is that I never bought a replacement for it. But here we are.

Purchased a Gun/Fireproof safe two weeks ago. Punched in the code a few days ago and it gives me the invalid code entered error beep. Called Winchester the next day and it was FAR too easy to get the override code. It took less than 5min on the phone with no proof of purchase needing to be provided. Don't get me wrong, it was a hassle free experience and they are sending out a new keypad for it, but how safe is a safe if anyone can call and get the code to open it?

Speaking of bonuses I'm getting shafted out of mine since to qualify I had to average 30/hrs a week. Since workmans comp fucked me for an extra year I missed out. Ugh.

The owner gave a bonus to people who worked for the company for 20 years: 6 day/5 night trip to Tahiti with 2 first class tickets and room at the 5 star bungalow rooms that are built over the beach & ocean. Or the cash equivalent $22.5k. Only 1 person out of the 30 or so who were offered it took the trip. And even that guy downgraded the trip to pocket some money. Also did a 3 day weekend cruise for the company for the 20th anniversary (before my time). Some schmuck who started 2 weeks before the cruise trip got invited. Lucky guy.

Owner also put up $75 million from his wallet for a retention plan when he sold the company for $1B. Didn't have to do that, but he did because we were his dream and wanted to make sure the old time employees were taken care of.

Though speaking of bonus, I'm getting shafted this year. Won't bore with the math and specifics, but it is a $4k pay cut this year.

It's the principle of the the thing. I at least want them to have a chance at a torn rotator cuff or to put out their back, or hell just sweat a little getting into it. A crick in their neck from holding the phone with their shoulder isn't quite the same thing.
