I understand. I always told people to buy because of the fire protection, the security was only going to deter crimes of opportunity. If someone knows you have something to take and want it, they'll get it. Though I'll say that is a little different than how Cannon responds to those requests. Sometimes it took weeks to get a lost code from them.

Jesus fuck Dell get your shit together. For the fourth time in less than a year, a fraudulent purchase was made online using our government account, despite the fact our account is supposed to be flagged for no purchases unless a quote is facilitated to my e-mail address and approved by me. At least this time it was only for 5 Dell Venue Tablets, so only 3600 this time.

Three! THREE! Months ago my kids got Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease from a kid at daycare. We then got it and this shit still hasn't ended. First, we had a week were our hands and feet hurt sooo badly. Like little needles everywhere, I could barely stand up. Then it went away. THEN about three weeks later our hands and feet started to peel. A little at first, but then it got all kinds of gross with skin falling off in chunks. Then THAT went away.

I though it was over. Last week my husband's nails started peeling. I kept crossing my fingers hoping this wasn't related. FUCK. Now layers of my nails are peeling off. SO. DAMN. GROSS.

I expect to lose a limb in two months.

That sucks. Our 4 year old had it last year, luckily it didn't get passed to either of us or our other 2 kids. He had it in the mouth, and it looked painful, he didn't have any of what you're experiencing, but again it looked so painful when he had it in the mouth, like cringe worthy painful. Only lasted about 2 weeks with him, so I guess compared to what you've been dealing with, all of us were lucky.

Just more reasons I'm so fucking happy to be childfree. I can't even imagine. Seriously glad this didn't happen to be around when I was growing up. Hope there is relief soon however

Had some woman waiting at a red light decide he just didn't feel like waiting more than 5 seconds just decide to go for it right as the lights for cross traffic (which happened to be the light I was waiting on) went green. So yeah was almost involved in a huge multicar wreck which never ends well for the bicyclist

Defiantly sucks dealing with the sickness and stuff for sure, but I'll say this. I usually get home from work just after midnight, and my lil man wakes up for a feeding most days after I've just gotten in, and for the 10 minutes that I just sit there on the couch holding him and feeding him, that's the best part of my day, every day. No matter how bad of a day I may have had, just holding him eases it all.

It can be stressful at times for sure, but becoming a parent has been the most rewarding/fulfilling thing I've ever done in life, bar none.

That's great that you and others find that fulfillment but I'll be honest to say that does nothing for me. There was a time I truly thought I wanted to be a parent but as I learned of my physical, psychological and mental health issues and infertility it helped my choice.

I never got baby fever , I don't get baby photos , I have to fake interest at work of coworkers kids- I'll take cats any day over it.

I think it's important to be true to ourselves in areas of fulfillment, like everything you describe sounds annoying to me lol. To each their own and it sounds like your kiddo is lucky to have a loving home.

My wife has the baby fever bad. She keeps watching videos of our son as an infant (he is going to be 4 in a couple weeks). We have been trying for another for over a year now with no success. The first came along very quickly after we started trying.

Also Ksan so sorry to hear about your experiences with HF&M my son got it and brought it home then I got it really bad. Couldn't walk for a week. It was so painful.

It was actually my sons' cousin who cured me of any lingering baby fever I had. He was being ornery for two days straight while his grandmother babysat, and since I was staying with the family, I got to listen to the soundtrack. That made me realize that I really don't have it in me to do the baby thing again.

I think I'm probably more cut out to be an uncle than a parent. I love spending time with my grandnephews, but the thought of having full-time responsibility for a little kid like them intimidates the hell out of me. Plus, takes two to tango.

But being an uncle is great. I get to go play and feed the fever but since I'm not technically babysitting all I really have to do is make sure they don't hurt themselves.
