We didn't go to any of the Korean BBQ places. The last one we went to was a soup kind of place. They made this ridiculous seafood soup with a whole bunch of shit I couldn't identify. Spicy too. Forgot what it was called.

Take any bagged sliced pepperoni in a single layer and place them on a double layer of paper towels.
Microwave for 45 seconds to 1 minute and they crisp up leaving the oil behind. So good. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...32dcd189bd.jpg
That sounds so simple and effective. Me and my roommates were lamenting not having any sort of chip or dip last night since we're all doing low-carb too. Chili-lime wings and cheeses and shrimp, but a man needs crunch in his life to be happy.
Haven't tried Maple. It's in a weird place where if I'm eating at home I usually cook but If I'm ordering stuff it's always lower end stuff like tacos/pizza/sushi. It just doesn't really fit my needs.
I was thinking more along the lines of lunch versus dinner. I may give it a try and have it delivered to my field office after a meeting one day. I'll let you know how it goes.
I'm not entirely unserious.
Local meat processing facility is burning. Expected a smell reasonably close to a barbecue, but instead the whole city stinks of plastic and the sky is covered in pitch black smoke.
So same Idjit at work has once again failed to pay even the smallest amount of attention to large pieces of machinery while they are running resulting in them breaking. This time he even failed to figure out anything was wrong when nothing was moving and there was a huge stink of burning rubber because well the rubber belt was slipping. This has been the 2nd time he's had this particular problem in like 3-4 months he's been going out... meanwhile in around 4 years I've managed never to do something like that with just paying slight attention while messing around on my phone
I still haven't heard back on the interview yet. At this point I think it's safe to say I didn't get the job. Back to the nah fuck it. Gonna get high and play games until I have to actually move today. Fuck it.
Edit: Oh hey, look, restarting the entire series of Friends. lol
No, but since we're on the subject - I want to. But what's appropriate? Interview was last Wed. at noon.
I think leaving 1 week is best, so call Wed afternoon imo
Just give them a call and mention you were hoping to follow up on the interview. It'll vary on being a pest or looking persistent, but if you're that antsy about waiting longer it'll let you know if they've got anything in the pipe for you.
Here's a visual how they cook https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/2016...8a0f583c9c.jpg
" hi this is worrywart just calling to follow up with an interview I had last week I just wanted to know the status" usually works pretty well.
Sometimes rather than saying you are checking on the "status" of your interview you can call under the auspices of telling them "thank you" for their time, consideration, doing the interview then inquire about the status.
Usually I accomplish this via email or letter rather than a call but I think it is appreciated via call too.
