Speaking of cards... my work doesn't take them. The vast majority of the business is scheduled ongoing stuff mostly with companies that get invoiced so it's not really worth it for us. We advertise everywhere but some people just don't bring any other forms of payment. Some of them are really weird about it to like they get a look on their face like I just kicked their puppy and ask why. Or when we say no cards they ask if credit cards work and if not if debit does. Some end up demanding we set up to take cards right then and there. Some just complain about having to take money out of an atm and paying a $4 fee. And I'm thinking first off who the hell doesn't keep at least a $20 on them or maybe an emergency check and who the hell keeps a bank that charges ATM fees that outrageous

You're right. I did say that. Then I said it was a poor choice of words to explain what I was trying to say and more rigidly defined it, but you're fixating on it. The only thing I ever claimed to not have said was explicitly stating I'd give a $5 tip on a $100 meal. I said something that could be taken as that if extrapolating. Which, again, was a poor choice of words that I later clarified. You also completely missed the point of the analogy in your jump to call me a pedophile, even though I spelled it out for you. I'm trying to get the city to pay out $67k for additional material that was no longer needed after they made changes to the contract drawings and the only person that has any knowledge of the project is leaving Friday.

The project director left 2+ years ago, the manager left 1-2 years ago, and the consultant doesn't work for the same company any more. To top if off, we're being sued by the supplier for this material because we never took delivery of it because it was not needed.

My closest bank is now hundreds of miles away... but they cooperate with a lot of other banks/atms for free withdrawals at a few dozen places in town. I think CO-OP is just charge free from their end anyways which is one of the ones they work with. Of course they don't really advertise this fact well so I went years not knowing though didn't matter till recently since I had always had one in town.

But even then when using another it was only $3. I'd about kill someone if I got charged $10 to pull out some money.
