oh snap. I WAS JUST KIDDING MAN
I've been on the internet for almost 20 years now and it still astounds me how gullible people are, I mean good god. If it's not "You better post this or a demon will scratch your eyes out!" it's "Share this pic and clog your friends' newsfeeds to get this free item!" Fucking stupid man.

Reminds me whenever I'd watch my sister use her computer. If she's trying to do something and a text/confirmation type box ever appears she almost always just clicks okay without reading it. She's the type that will globally enable all scripts in order to use an internet browser on anyone's computer, after taking forever to realize noscript isn't why her page isn't loading/working correctly, and then of course also not remember to undo that when she's done.
Although I can pretty much forgive anybody who's still preteen because they literally haven't developed enough to understand why or how to be paranoid. Not counting the ye olde good diablo 2 days when I was young and stupid I can only think of 3-5 times I've been screwed and for all of those, imo, it wasn't my fault. There were some particular shenanigans with my @optonline email that got me hit twice, and I want to say the second time was entirely my fault... but the only reason it happened was because I couldn't/can't change the password on my optonline email because fuck knows why. At most that instance is only 25% my fault. <.<
I am starting 11 hour work days until further notice on the day FFXI gets a new expansion after 5 1/2 years. Sigh.
I can't cook.
Like, I just fucked up french toast so bad I had to throw away what I made and burned the pan![]()
I have ESPN updates on my phone for the Rays and the Pens. I get a final score update saying TB 6 PIT 2 and I'm all like WTF because the Bolts are terrible so I go to check scores and it was preseason baseball. I'm sure it said MLB on there and I totally ignored it. Lol.
Getting switched to midnights next week. Getting off of evenings due to lack of family time/personal time and thought it would be a refreshing change. Been waiting for this transfer for almost 8 years and extremely excited about it (mostly to work with new people). Also wanted to get away from the raving lunatic of a Sergeant and his posse' that threaten to end existence as we know it with their shenanigans.
Just found out today that the OIC just shifted all the shifts to change up the ranks. Starting next week I get my old NCO's that I was trying to get away from (again) and loosing 50% of the midnight crew to day work. Fuck me sideways.
Spoiler: show
Alton Brown really is a fucking boss. I miss that show.
First world problem: I'm so bored in work I changed my profile picture to a division sign and making as many math references on my / my friends' facebooks as possible under the guise of being confused into thinking it's math day on the site.
And apparently I missed a spree stabbing at the Target I was in yesterday by about 5 minutes. Not really surprising. It's a horrible neighborhood. Projects are literally one stop light away from the store.
Cancelled comcast due to continued bullshit, but keeping Internet up for now. Found out UVerse is not available in my old ass complex. So that leaves only Dish/Direct TV for Television. Anyone here have experiences with either?
They both suck, Directv gets the go ahead if it's either or. The guide is better, the channel lineup is better. Dish is slightly cheaper but will rape you on cancellation fees if you don't last through the contracted length. Both customer services are in the AT&T level of shittiness.
