Animal style fries are fine, it's just the plain fries that are no bueno. Every time they are sad, soggy, and floppy, not nice and crispy like a good fry should be. I know that In-n-Out is all about their tradition, but they need to fix their fries.

Sacrilegious. In N Out has the best fries. No animal style or ketchup needed.

You can always ask for fries well done. They do that via request.

See when it comes to animal style the cheese and the grilled onions? A+ buddy. However that thousand island crap needs to get the fuck out of all hamburger places. Also why get a double double when you can get a 4X4? That said when I'm willing to spend a little more I'd just go to 5 Guys. They will add as many patties as I want and put things like grilled mushrooms on too. Though 6 patties gets a bit messy and hard to fit in mouth

I like the buns, hence preferring 2x double double to a 4x4. I'm not gonna get thousand island on a burger anywhere else, but eating at In-N-Out without the sauce is a waste of time. I usually only get to eat there 2 or 3 times a year so I want the full "experience"

I find Five guys overpriced honestly since I don't like many toppings and their buns are horrible.
I always get extra spread on my animal style fries but hate that shit in salads.

I've never had their fries. I just get the 4 patty burger and I'm gucci.

Though Yellow Basket lowkey has the best burgers on the west coast. Every time I visited CA I went to Yellow Basket like 3-4x a week and In-N-Out maybe once every week or so
