Random Fail: First World Problems

Had a late board game night until like 2AM with some co-workers. They have today off and I the early day shift. Gaming went late as nothing ever happens on Sunday mornings.... Until today. Good old legacy systems, causing problems since 1995!

I am so fucking hungover I expected to just do my start of day and just nap until the sites opens 4 hours from now...

My fail is I still feel like garbage after my procedure this week. My body is just trying to recover from the trauma and is nowhere near normal body functions. I don't think my body is rejecting the implant at least , but I'm still having recurring symptoms from before this was done I think I'm going to have to push back to get more testing on. My anxiety is ramping up from work as I feel like because if they don't see me "sick" or in pain that it's not there and I'm being judged. That's my own fucking hangup I readily admit though. I'm just ready to not be in constant pain.

I worked in a vet office for a few months, had to hold down plenty of animals for euthanasia. The thing that got to me more than watching the owners say goodbye or watching the animal die was how they went completely slack after. Every muscle goes completely relaxed and hauling them to the freezer in the back really feels like you're carrying an amorphous bag of meat. That was more sickening than any of the gaping wounds and blood.

When we had to put my dog down back in April, despite his heart having stopped and him being limp, I noticed his nose kept twitching. I figured it just nerves and didn't want to say anything because it was already painful enough, but part of me worried that maybe something didn't quite go right. Now I better shut up before I get all misty again.

My school was a fucking mess the other day, this controversial dude showed up for a debate or something. Needless to say, a bunch of black lives matter blocked the entrance. Now idk what the fuck that movement is, or who the fuck that one dude was, but it was an interesting talk.

Starting to get really pissed off with county property and salvage. They were supposed to pick up about 6 desktops and 50 laptops, along with a bunch of unused konica toner. They picked up about 5 laptops, left a bunch of their own equipment here and rushed out because they wanted to work through lunch and go to a retirement party. They have now rescheduled on me 3 times, and yesterday I was told we were their only pickup and would be here around 9am. They just called about 15 minutes ago and said they should be here by noon.
