So this happened at Costco... what you can't see from this side is that big box in the cart is sitting on Klenex boxes and despite all that room in the main part of the cart they put another thing of milk behind the box in the seat area. Seriously does no know how to stack shit?

Came into work to find out the sweetest coworker I work with her dad passed away last night. I had discovered he was in the hospital and wished her family well before I left last night. She rushed home and he passed away minutes before she got there. Needless to say the entire office is having a rough Friday.

I had to stop myself several times from bawling my eyes out as I lost my mom in a very similar time frame and the anniversary of that is next month.

I started going gray in high school. Was no big thing. Though I do worry about the day I find my first gray pube. That is going to be a rude awakening that I'm officially old.

I find gray hairs all the time now, which is why I try to keep my hair dyed regularly. They don't really bother me most of the time, but my hair is so dark naturally that they stand out quite a bit and I'll randomly have a "fuck you, gray hairs" moment.

BG is aging, and it's really weird. Most of us were in our 20s or teens when we started posting here, and now a lot of us are heading into middle age, getting real careers and having families. The whole demographic has kind of shifted. I think about that sometimes, how this forum has matured over time.

It has been very interesting to watch this happen. My wife and I joke about it. How many years do you think it will be before we all start voting conservative and posting pictures of our kids' college graduations?

I think I did it all out of order though. I was 19 with 2 kids when I started playing FFXI. While most of the people in my end-game LS were complaining about high school problems, I had a career in medical administration. I have since switched careers something like 4 times and have a kid in high school. Pretty soon, I will be in my 40s trying to live life like a college dropout in my 20s.

Since everyone's talking about hair, I was one of the lucky ones to lose most of mine right out of high school. Serves me right for not taking care if it though. Now I keep it really short until I have the balls enough to just shave it all off and walk around with my oddly shaped head.

I always wanted to have the salt and pepper type look when I was old enough though, so that's unfortunate. I'm banking on my beard to get me there unless it abandons me too.

i should have specified that looking terrible is part of "no longer possible." For now it's really just a receding hairline with thinning on top, so I can simply do a side part and it looks fine. Not my favorite look, but better than parting down the middle like I used to, which looks like a fucking comb-over now. Sure as hell not doing THAT look.

I'm not sure how I'll wear it as things proceed. I've debated shaving everything (minus beard), or just the middle patch to leave a stadium cut (and then maybe going short), or keeping it all trimmed short and just letting it do its thing... but I won't really know until I get there and figure something out that I can live with.

Need to vent for a minute.

Got let go from Lyft/Uber a month ago because I got pulled over while driving with a suspended license two years ago. Suspension was due to unpaid registration tags. Tried fighting it for weeks but kept getting copy/paste replies so I stopped trying and have been looking for a new job. The really shitty thing is that the 'major violation' was put on my record after I paid the court fees. Finished paying the fines four months after I've been doing Lyft/Uber.

Money troubles as of late due to lack of work, and was smoking everyday so even if I do get a decent job, I don't know if I can past the drug screening for a few more weeks. Trying to get a guard card, but with my wife now taking over driving, her luck has been pretty bad. Just getting bad real quick.

Start now, I wasn't aware of my thinning until someone mentioned it. Then I just decided to not be a few years late on realizing I should have been keeping it short, so I promptly went to a 1 guard high fade. Won't be long before I go to a no guard whether or not I have the aesthetics to pull it off.
