I don't get this. People show up to work hung over all the goddamned time. Or drunk. But, for the most part, they abuse alcohol outside the workplace. So, why doesn't anyone outgrow alcohol? Fuck that. Legalize weed. I don't show up to work (granted I'm not in the professional world) high or.... hung over from it/experiencing the effects of it. And if I ever join the professional world I probably wouldn't stop smoking. Nothing I'll ever do will probably be important/consuming enough to help me 'outgrow' it anyway.
Ya'll can have your idiot liquor.![]()
Yep. I agree with your points but even if when weed is legal (Very soon I'd guess) it will take years for it to permeate into acceptable work culture in most industries and societies. Alcohol made that journey a long time ago.
This point doesn't hold to a whole bunch of industries though, namely media. Most of those fucks are high as balls all day. They get shit done though.
Media and entertainment industry.
Anyway, I won't preach, I just woke up mad, I have a question that can be easily answered here so:
What's the couple of websites that track the best times to buy flights? Can't remember off the top of my head and google is coming up with nothing.
I use Kayak for most shit.
I'll try those, thanks, but the one I was looking for is neither of those.
Hopper was it, found it. :D
I use Airfarewatchdog for alerts and Kayak as mentioned above.
Kayak's built-in tracker is nice if you're using the mobile app. I have it all tied together now.
I get emails on routes and date ranges every morning at about 5am with price movements.
I'm compiling a historic structures report for my graduate class that's due tomorrow and one of my teammates sent me his report with zero sources. I don't think he's ever written a professional paper in his life. What sucks is that it's a 400 level elective and he's a Sophomore. I still have no idea how he's allowed in this course. So now I'm stuck either handing in a report that's incomplete or a report that violates plagiarism rules. Sounds like I'm just going to splinter this report off and hand in my work separate.
Every time I got lumped into a "team" at school or work I always felt like I was getting drafted by the Cleveland Browns.
rule number two is don't break rule number one.
Yep. Just do all the work yourself.
People always thought I was crazy for this, but if the option was given to work by myself, I would always do so from the start, eliminating any possible hassle. People would always ask if they could work with me because they know I do my work, but I would always say that I preferred to work alone.
Checks with chart
I despise group projects and if ever assigned one just assume I'm doing it myself anyway.
