Have fun. Got so sick of yogurt and the like the first few days. It was recommended to eat soft foods for like the next 4 days to avoid dislodging the blood clot and risking dry socket. And to make it worse (and tie it in to other posts), Taco Bell started advertising the quesalupa taco thing right after I had it pulled. First thing I did when I could eat solid food was order one of those bad boys, and was completely underwhelmed by it.

Wait you aren't supposed to eat solid food after getting teeth pulled? My dentist didn't tell me shit abiut that when I got all my wisdom teeth pulled... also stupid stitches never dissolved so ended up ripping them out

Might be different for wisdom teeth. Mine wasn't one of those and didn't have stitches. Wasn't supposed to do anything that could agitate the hole and knock out the blood clot. No straws, no smoking, no spitting, no vigorous swishing, no chewing. Just told to basically leave it alone for the first four days, after which I could start using a plastic syringe they gave me to flush it out with water several times a day. Still doing that like a month later after I eat to get out any food that may have gotten lodged in there.

I need two teeth pulled for going on 2-3 months now but cant be bothered. May do it over spring break. Just so much work.

Getting a cracked filling replaced tomorrow but despite being out of shape and only occasional brushing my over the years(Maybe 5-6 times a week) my teeth ain't too bad, not looking forward to getting that shit replaced though since getting the anesthetic hurts like a bitch and i'm not overly fond of needles as it is but i don't envy people that don't have free dental care(On a type of disability allowance so i get it free) so i can get any problems seen to asap, you have my sympathies.
