Customer calls in, they can no longer access parts of our website. "Well, I just did this update thing and now my favorites aren't across the top anymore." "Are they under the favorites menu?" "Yes, but they're not across the top. JUST MAKE THEM ACROSS THE TOP ALREADY." At this point, the customer started crying. Not to mention that we don't support anything browser related, and they did ... I don't know what she updated, but she did something >_>

How do people like this survive in positions that require they use a computer?

So, remember how at the start of the week I was bitching about my truck? Well.....I got home from school today to a brand new 30,000 dollar SUV, 2013 Chevy Equinox. Neat. I guess it's a first world problem to come home to a new vehicle.

Not to rain on this pity party but...

I am financing a truck through Ally. Never had a problem with them, paid my payment on time every time for the two years I've had the truck so far. I had some financial difficulty earlier this year and I have been getting a little under my finances so I did the responsible thing and called some of my creditors to try to work some things out to get myself back on track. I called Ally and set up a payment plan to them of 1/3 payment this month, 2/3 payment next month, effectively skipping one payment and extending the term of my loan by one month. I got the exact amounts and confirmation number and everything ... go log onto my account to pay them and this financial plan thing is nowhere to be found, what I owe is the full payment amount which I do not have room for in my very strict budget.

And of course, they don't have any customer service reps until Monday morning. Glad I tried to be responsible and work something out instead of simply not paying. I mean for fuck's sake. I am so fucking angry right now.

Totally... no say in color, make or model. People think they are doing you a favor now you got a vehicle you never wanted even if you had picked out the exact same one previously.

There should hopefully be a record of your conversation with them, if the person you spoke with doesn't like loosing their job, there will be a note, and it can be cleared up with that. I work with plenty of people like this however, who are lazy fucks, say whatever, then move on to the next customer without actually doing the work they are supposed to. I do my best to get them fired.

They might just have terrible website programming that doesn't accurately reflect special arrangements. Had a similar issue with my electric bill a while back, where everything was accurate over the phone, but the site showed an incorrect balance for 3 months, then started showing it correctly.

Camera got bricked at Disneyland. Wife handed me her bag since she didn't have room to store it in her lap on Splash mountain and I had it on the side of the log under my bag. Didn't realize she didn't move the camera to the inside and just had it on an outside pocket. Now it won't start. Luckily all the pictures are on the SD card, just hoping that the card isn't fucked as we had pictures from inside Walt's Apartment on there that we didn't have moved yet from earlier in the day.

Spoke to them this morning - it's not quite this, just that it takes 30 days to update so it hasn't shown up yet, but I was assured when I made my payment that I was on time and good to go. Whew.
