My boss is prego. She leaves for maternity leave in September. I don't want to be be manager. I'm happy as assistant as I'm still learning the ropes.

As much as I hate wells fargo, at least they haven't fucked me as hard as BofA did. I had overdraft connected to my savings, had plenty of cash in there, had two transactions totaling about 3 bucks cause me to go over in checking and instead of pulling from my savings, tried to charge me 50 bucks and when I called and complained, the banker told me that she was going to be nice and reverse one of the two overdrafts since it was there fault. Never drove so quickly to a bank to pull my money out and go elsewhere then I did that day.

Yeah Navy federal is pretty good. The only problems I've had with them is there not being a branch within several hundred miles of me but lol at going into a bank. And one time they kind of screwed me over but upping my credit limit without telling me which ended up causing problems when I had to do some confirmation junk

The senior auditor I work with (the two of us only), is on maternity leave. You learn a crazy lot filling that void while also still trying to juggle your own responsibilities. Its like not only do you learn their job demands, but you learn more efficient ways of going about their responsibilities simply out of necessity of having to do two people's work.

So after I mentioned work being dicks and backstabbing me a couple of weeks ago, they took me into HR today to try make it official. They are eliminating my position and are offering me a different position. It is very obvious they are just trying to push me out. The position they are offering me is essentially what I do now but with a different title and a 40% paycut.

And because I work in Florida, I highly doubt there is anything I can do about it. I asked for time to think about it, they gave me half a day. I'm trying to speak to the Operations Director who is my friend to see if there's any other options I have open to me.

I would rather go work a shitty job for a different manager than take the job they offered me and work for the same manager. I fucking knew I should have been looking for a different job but I was assured everything would be fine.

Unfortunately reservations opened months ago and that's prime tourist season so not surprised. It's a weird location though as we drive past last time in Anaheim just kind of like it was dropped in the middle of everything. While the ones in northern states are most popular I'm wondering how it will do long term here. Just keep checking , people cancel all the time.

I would do that but I think this is just step 1 towards finding a reason to fire me. I've spoken to one of the directors and he said he would see what he can find out and get back to me.

It's all office politics. They want to get at the Operations Director because him and sales don't get along. I am someone who works for the sales side (against my will) who is seen as loyal to the operations director. So fucking with me is a way to get at him.

It majorly pisses me off because I have worked with the company for 11 years now (I started working here at 18 years old). So to feel like I am being pushed out is an awful feeling.
