if i eat something with red sauce, i usually make it myself. the only problem is getting the right tomatoes.

it's usually a tomato issue
It's not Rao's, but if you're in Astoria you can check out Milkflower. Their burrata is really good and so are their meatballs and sauce. it's not a pasta dish, just a giant tender meatball and good sauce.
Don't think I've ever seen that around here not that I look at red sauces much. I usually stick to this pretty awesome local brand (sonoma gourmet if anyone cares). Partly because it because still got a bunch free they gave us from when we did a job for them lol. But also because they use all natural ingredients (no added sugar is a huge plus) mostly sourced in state and actually have watched them hand make the sauces and definitely taste awesome. One complaint is they literally put the word organic in front of every ingredient... we get it you are organic shutup already
Organic is bullshit anyway.
Yeah I normally avoid it cause usually just a way to make people happy to pay a higher price for the same product.
Speaking of random fail and organic. So yesterday decided to look around a bit in the Whole foods near me. Normally don't buy much for the already mentioned stupidly higher costs (seriously fucking ground beef is sometimes around $8-9/lbs fuck that I can buy tri-tip for that) but can occasionally still find deals (a lot of the veggies/fruit is actually on par or cheaper than other stores) and needed some sesame oil and hey can't hurt to check. And fail of fail the super organic, gluten free, non gmo super virgin(insert 10 other B.S. terms here) sesame seed oils was almost half the price of anything at other super markets nearby assuming I can even find it. They even had some higher temp refined ones that the other stores around don't even have for even cheaper.
Little Caesar's crazy bread dipping sauce is the best sauce ever
Can you leave now?
He's not lying
Im all about the crazy bread
Best sauce ever though? That's a giant stretch.
Who the fuck buys pasta sauce? Make your own!
Ain't nobody got time for that!
I love Little Caesar's Crazy Bread but the sauce I can take or leave. The bread is good with or without honestly.
I haven't eat little Caesars in forever. Partly because the closest one is like 4 miles away and Round Table is about 3 blocks away and well Round table >>>> little Caesars. Plus the bacon-wrapped pizza was totally meh
So I work in a radio station. I don't know if I've ever made that clear or not, but it is relevant to this fail. Dude who was doing maintenance on our radio tower comes in and says his truck's battery died on him, and asks if I can give him a jump. So I pull my truck up to his, he already has the cables connected to his battery, and when I go to connect mine I get the pops and sparks. I do a double take to make sure I was connecting them properly, while dude made a sarcastic suggestion to try switching ends. No, I double checked, I had it right. Try again, got sparks again. At this point I turn to look at HIS connection, and he has the positive to the negative and negative to the positive. This is the man who is responsible for doing maintenance on our radio tower. Sigh.
Can't argue about what people like/dislike as far as drinks. Not everyone's pallet is the same. Myself, I drink roughly 4-6 cups of black coffee a day. I get the big container of Costco/Kirkland Colombian and for the price I think it's pretty great. We ran out and I picked up some Maxwell House to hold us over and it is so disgusting compared to Costco brand. Best coffee I've ever had would be when I lived in Florida I had a coworker from Columbia and a coworker from Haiti and both brought me back coffee. Smoothest coffee I've ever tasted to this day. The Haitian coffee literally looked like dirt but it was so fine and smelled amazing.
I grind beans from Amazon and use them in the keurig with a filter. Coffee only in the mornings, usually bulletproof to skip breakfast.
No fucking clue why people use store-bought/jar sauce tho lol. Make your own, freeze extra.
Any statement of best sauce that does not include the words welsh rarebit is a wrong fucking statement.
