So I pull my truck up to his, he already has the cables connected to his battery, and when I go to connect mine I get the pops and sparks. I do a double take to make sure I was connecting them properly, while dude made a sarcastic suggestion to try switching ends. No, I double checked, I had it right. Try again, got sparks again. At this point I turn to look at HIS connection, and he has the positive to the negative and negative to the positive. This is the man who is responsible for doing maintenance on our radio tower. Sigh.
