My wife told me I should go to a strip club on my bachelor party (unprompted). I didn't care about going and nobody in the group (like 15 of us) did either except for my brother was adamant we went, so we did. My brother then ducked out of the rest of the night after the strip club whilst the rest of us stayed out all night drinking.

My wife went ballistic and almost cancelled the wedding over it. She held it against me for years. 6 years on I still don't bring up anything relating to my bachelor weekend or even the city it was in because I know she'll get pissed.

And it's not like I'm a pushover, I get my way on virtually everything. This was like a berserk button for her.

Bah so seems stupid insurer did send a bill but got lost in the mail for awhile. So going to be late paying. Grab the info from it to pay online and it tells me I don't have an account even though I've already paid online before. Try to make a new account says I can't because since I'm late paying and account ia suspended. Fuckers really don't want my money.


In other mail related fails... customer in same town sends us a payment early January. We get it a week ago <. <. Even better is it seems they figured out we hadn't got it on their own and which we had already got and cashed like a month ago

Today marks 13 years of my mom passing away. Feels surreal it's been that long and so much has changed in my life since then. Even now I have days where I have the urge to pick up the phone to call her , I'm not sure that will ever go away.

It's my first time working in this day in 2 years since I was in workmans comp previously . I'm trying my best to keep busy and thankfully it's Friday so I can drink as much as I want with no fucks tonight.

If I wanted to spend hundreds of dollars on some girls I'd have gone to a bar and at least that way I'd have had a chance of getting laid.

I had something similar with Coast. I mailed in my payment, 2 weeks later, I got into an accident that I was at fault in. When I got home from having my car towed, I had a letter saying my insurance was cancelled due to non payment. Called them up and they told me they "lost" the check. I got lucky in the sense the accident was an intentional one where one friend cut the other over on purpose, making me slam into the guy in front of me. Tried to get me to pay 2k for a bent trailer hitch that he didn't even have. They settled for like 300. Only shitty part was having my license restricted for a year due to their bullshit.

Got my first live taste of playoff hockey last night watching my Flyers forget how to play the sport. Spent the metro ride back to the car chatting with a bunch of Caps fans about the game. The night was pretty enjoyable and the seats were great (three rows from the glass behind the net) but I'd rather have watched a win from the nosebleeds.

The fail is not knowing whether this was a win with some negative elements or a fail with some positive elements.

This is kind of how I feel. See people dropping way to much to see barely more than you see on the beach.

That said definitely hit up a few in Guam when I was there because those girls work for $1s and they often don't use their hands to retrieve said dollars and was fairly interactive. Still didn't get laid but still got to touch and cheaper than pumping a girl with drinks

Also that wasn't either of ours first concert. That was just our first time seeing them. I've seen Faith No More, Metallica, Tool, Tomahawk, Jerry Cantrell, Days of the New, Perfect Circle and Beach Boys in concert prior. If we count blizzcon concerts, I've also seen Ozzy and Tenacious D live as well.

If you're spending hundreds at a strip club and not getting laid, you're doing it wrong, or you spend thousands getting laid elsewhere.
