It's basically grandpa logic since I've heard similar for, like, ever. I'd say it's only recently that non-entry level positions are getting a bit more forgiving in that regard, particularly the tech sphere.

Personally can't work anywhere that demands I'm clean shaven. While I'd mentioned my scalp psoriasis in the past, I get a somewhat similar flaking/irritation up front if I'm shaving daily despite moisturizers or sensitive shaving creams. If I can manage 3-4 days in between I can usually be okay, but sometimes weather and such doesn't cooperate. At this point, I just do it about once a month when I buzz the hair.

To interrupt this line of discussion, I've had a migraine all day. I had so much shit that I needed to get done today since, well, it's fucking Saturday, and I've mostly lain around trying to get my head to stop hurting. Fuck me.

There's companies like Google and that don't give a fuck about any of of those things. Google is super competitive.

I live Miami where a lot of people have exposed tattoos. I had a corporate manager at Pf Changs covered in tattoos and my general manager and an exposed tattoos. He would always hire people with tattoos because he wanted hard workers and not pussies.

I'm just saying the perception of people with tattoos is changing. Getting a tattoo is painful, mentally and physically. Shows you can hold out under pressure. Shows commitment to achieve a goal even if you have to go thru hell for it.

The regional manager makes about 110k a yr plus a bonus surplus. Which is shit but I never mentioned that Pf Changs is some type of achievement. This was just my experience but yet your simple minds can't understand that.
