sorry for your loss.
sorry for your loss.
My condolences.![]()
Just had a blowup with the wifey. Apparently her family thinks I'm too mean when it comes to my food. It's a blatant response to the fact I can't stand her little brother and his freeloading ways. Told the wife from now on she doesn't have to cook shit for me, nor do I want anything from her family. I can't stand it anymore. Her family is so drama filled it's fucking unbearable. I'm at the brink of telling my own wife to pack her shit up and go to her fucking sisters.
I thought it was a godsend when I got transferred to the DC office, but apparently I pissed someone off in my previous life because I'm now working 70+ hour weeks on salary and family-in-law drama is pushing my marriage to the brink. Only solace today is to get drunk to some WWE Payback.
My condolences Astylla. Never really knew my father, but my mother is the world to me. I can't pretend to imagine your grief.
Xno I haven't paid enough attention, do they live in the house with you? What is the situation with the food?
They live about five minutes down the street. The little brother-in-law lived with us for a bit until I kicked him the fuck out for continued stupidity which caused me thousands. The thing is, they're supposedly scared of upsetting me when I don't get enough food or when the wife cooks and doesn't give it all. It's all bullshit. I'm at work majority of the time they fucking eat anyways.
They're only talking shit because the little asshole brother-in-law kept eating leftovers reserved for me for when I got home from work. So most of the time I was left with nothing. They're holding a grudge about it. Wife is understandably caught in the middle, but keeps making stupid fucking comments as if I'm fucking evil for wanting to eat my own god damn food in my own god damn house. I couldn't give a damn what's cooked at her sisters.
So sorry to hear that Ast, I can only imagine how bad you feel. I still haven't come to terms with my grandads death 1 month on so for it to be a parent, I know it must be a hell of a lot worse.
You said you're in Florida right now. If you're anywhere near Orlando and need someone to drink/vent/talk to, then just let me know and I'll meet up with you for a drink or something.
Imop after you get married priority becomes spouse/kids > parents/siblings > extended family. I would have a problem if my wife was not willing to advocate for my perspective. Caught in the middle my ass. She is on my side.
Dang Ast sorry for your loss I hope you win the lottery to balance things out wow that would be so baller
This made me smile after the last 24 hours of hell.
Thank you , really.
We are in Palm Bay , and flew into Tampa. We were actually at Disney Springs a few days ago and tried to relax because Friday was the hospice move.
I appreciate the thought and if I need anyone to talk or vent to I'll be sure to remember that. Thank you.
I lost my mom 12 years ago April 15th ( a day before my parents 45th wedding anniversary) and she was my world. Me and my dad never were close but I always cared about him so it's still hard to deal with. I would never wish this experience on anyone.
I appreciate all the kind words shared with me here.
That bro in law needs to check himself. Being hangry ain't a pretty thing and is a simple request.
Astylla I am so sorry to hear about that. I am glad that you were able to get there in time to see him even for a brief moment. 2016 has been a hard year for BG losing family members. It is so nice that we are able to be here and support each other even in a small way. It really helps.
Fuck 2016 it isn't just being hard on celebrities it is hitting us all.
Astylla I think your idea of a grief counselor is a good one. Take your time to process this experience however you need to.
Support comes in many forms and I'm grateful to be able to have somewhere to go to talk it out even now. I have to thank my oldest sister for asking them to postpone the move from rehabilitation to hospice as had she not , it would have been too late. He only lasted less than 24 hours and went from competent to make his own choices including going to hospice on Wednesday to non responsive and gone by Saturday afternoon.
This has also helped Melena and I talk out our wishes even more because we aren't guaranteed anything. I still can't get the image of him there , lifeless and the color drained from him out of my mind. I do not wish anyone to suffer this way , I truly urge everyone to talk about this , have a living will even and what not.
I know others have suffered losses also and want to extend my hand out also if anyone needs to talk . No one should ever deal with grief alone.
Losing a parent is so hard, I feel your pain, ast. Sorry.
Just a church inferno on the block. nbd.
It's a Serbian Orthodox chuch, today is Easter for them.
No word on anyone caught inside.
Well, I think we figured out which religion isn't the right one.
holy fuck.
For anyone interested, it was a 4 alarm fire (last I saw) and the church was built in 1855 I believe.
Yep, was a gorgeous church. Big bust of Tesla out front too. That's still there.
It was belching fire out of the front like a dragon.
