Speaking of awful movie experiences, does anyone have experience with those movie tavern places?
Aside from massive price gouging, good, bad, other?

Like Alamo Drafthouse where they serve you beer and shit to your seat?
There's an Alamo near me, and it was great when it first opened, but the service is slipping. I think that's probably the most of it though. The beers are the same price you'd see elsewhere in NYC, they have decent food, but of course you also have some noise from people eating and stuff.
I think overall they can be pretty good if the service is at least decent. Wife and I saw Star Wars and Deadpool at the Alamo near us opening weekends. Was busy, but not ridiculous, and we had a good time.
I assume they are similar to the Drafthouse style, if so, they are pretty enjoyable. Doesn't look like they have a quiet policy so maybe not as good?
Similar I think. http://www.movietavern.com/experience/
It's the closest place to me and unlike last time I went to movies deadpool / AoU the big like 6-8 person is likely to just be 2-4 this time so figured it might be worth checking out as we are all basically alcoholics for the summer.
Sounds pretty much the same, yeah.
It'll come down to service. If you're going to get shit faced, you'll probably be disappointed if it's anything like Alamo. It's slow going getting your food and drinks sometimes.
The key is to find a bar near the theater and show up most of the way in the bag. Have 2-3 drinks through the movie and you're set.
Well I plan on enjoying the movie which I wont do smashed, but the others are their own people so whatever. But if it's a not-bad experience that's good. Will push the idea so I have to drive less.
I'd guess that they'd have marathons of older movies and stuff like that too that would be good times to get drunk first then go see the movies. They had a Burt Reynolds marathon a couple months ago at Alamo and there was another one recently too.
AC at work is broken and stuck to polar bear exhibit temperatures. Fucking 62 degrees in my office and my chair is right under the fucking vent.
So turns out the coworker I talked about earlier going after all kinds of chicks and hookup aps does it irl too. Seems he's basically like Andy and Randy from Sex Drive hitting on everything in sight asking all the girls their numbers (he always claimed this but thought he was joking) with crazy confidence for well a human foul ball. Anyways apparently he does this on the job too and we've had a couple of calls from customers asking he doesn't come back lol. Like apparently he got the number of some chick in this law firm we do and they texted a bit and now she's asked her boss to ask ours that he doesn't come back
So what you're saying is, you're exactly like this at work right now:
Spoiler: show
Just about.
Went to buy milk, egg whites, and eggs at grocery store.
Spent $100.
Did you get the employee to fetch the things directly from the farm? Holy shit.
My mistake was shopping hungry.
Why did pf changs turn to shit in the last few years
They used to have these big wooden menus with great food and now it's like eating at Applebee's with rice in everything
I had PF Chang's like once ten years ago and it was really good. honey butterfly shrimp or something
never since then, and it sounds like I'm not missing out :/
