Random Fail: First World Problems

Not a fail on our part but our apartment. It's getting stupid humid and after running our AC for four hours the temperature went up. Bought two more fans and will probably get more. Screw the AC.

/sigh. So, today, I ended up getting a good 30 minute coughing fit.

First, I forgot how extremely painful that is to your back.
Second, the wife was around so after the coughing and getting my breath back. We both had a very long talk about how things will go. I told her the 2 options I get. Either quick and I'm gone, or very long and very painful. She cried to both but said that no matter what she'll be by my side.

I went into full detail of each, so she's fully informed. Keep in mind, loads of crying were going on during all of this. If it wasn't for her, I probably would have lost my shit and honestly, either smashed my car to bits, or kill someones pet. She has kept my rage in check. There is no beating this. Just....trying to prolong it to hopefully get another set of lungs.

Now, my only fear is watching her watch me and seeing that pain and suffering in her eyes.

And this entire thing was a talk I was hoping to have at like year 15. Thus the fail. It was a insanely emotional 3 hours talk. And now, I'mma get fucked up on sleeping pills and try to keep exercising till my check up in 2 weeks and pray something can be done.

Part of the problem is you keep taking sleeping pills. A well known side effect of any medication that puts you to sleep is decreased lung function. I just have asthma and am very careful with what I take because many things are labeled with precautions for asthmatics. Considering your condition is far worse you might want to take a look at the label.

I'm only bringing this up because of a medication my doctor put me on yesterday. I woke up in the middle of the night and felt like I wasn't getting enough air. Muscle relaxers and sleeping pills are known for that. They relax all muscle function including the lungs. Just food for thought.

I used to have apnea and other sleeping issues and my doctor strictly warned me off of muscle relaxers and sleeping pills. He said any breathing issues are compounded by their use in a sometimes fatal way.

Scared the shit out of me. I only take sleeping pills occasionally when flying now.

I've been on sleeping pills for over 3 years. If it was an issue. I wouldn't be on them. And I know I bitch a lot but this isn't me complaining about something shitty or stupid, this is my health getting worse. This is the first time in 5 years I've lost any lung functions and thus, am rightfully, worried.

I've been told I essentially flail all around the bed nonstop all night. I think when I am having trouble breathing as-is the meds make it worse while keeping me locked down and half asleep.

So I end up messing up a route because both I and the mapping software assumed 101 south state street was ya know south of 100 north state street when it turns out they are right across the street from each other. Because apparently what street you are on being dependent on which side of the street you are makes so much sense no one even bothered to put up any kind of sign to show that and no one would think that 101 that is on a street named north state street would in fact have an address of 101 south state street.

Turns out they got a hold of some of the pills the kids took. They were homemade, which also explains why the kids reacted the way they did. I had to resist all my anger over one of the girls who took it. She had seizure-like symptoms when it happened and yet she is strutting around the school like she's some kind of warhero. Another girl had heart issues and she doesn't seem to give a fuck either.
