Have someone ask what hours we are open. Tell them. Then they immediately ask if we will be there then. No Ma'am we unlock the doors then go home for the day. Come in do the work yourself and leave home much money you feel is appropriate

Wooow. Found out today that someone complained to HR about the person in charge and amazingly got it to stick. Well maybe not so amazingly considering what he did.
He told a female employee that he didn't have to worry about having to tell her 'Happy Mother's Day', laughed and walked off. That female employee is a cancer survivor who cannot have children.
I did wonder where he was the last few weeks, he's gone to the UK office hoping it will cool off.
Is this the same guy that's fucking you over?
Brother last minute just told me he gave me the wrong weekend for graduation. It's this Saturday, not next Saturday. That means I have 24hrs to prepare to deal with my raging cunt bag of a piece of shit mother............ And I can't prepare with alcohol as Astylla can't drive.
EARTHQUAKEEEEE
ok back to bed.
Airenn's post made me think of this because it's 4AM:
My random fail is that I hadn't seen this video before now. ACDC looks like cooler bros than I'd assumed, but the main vocalist is definitely on amphetamines or something.
Also, check out those shorts.
Watch more Top Gear
Two big shakes for us here. Definitely think I'm closer. I was standing and it felt like something ran into the house but no loud noises. Then it happened again. I don't feel them often, was kinda cool.
Yep. I knew he was like that and an asshole, but never thought he'd do something so stupid in office and never thought HR would actually do anything.
I've seen him get away with drink driving a company BMW M5 so intoxicated that he threw up in it and nothing happened despite everyone knowing. So I figured he'd get away with anything
So been feeling really run down all week on top of not being able to sleep well so last night even more tired so I go to bed at 10 and amazingly get to sleep yay. My body was like haha you think you are going to get more rest eh? Wake up at 1 AM because I can't breath due to extreme chest congestion and feel extremely feverish. Spent next couple of hours running AC and taking a cold bath even though it was maybe 60 out in order to get comfortable enough to sleep again.
Sorry to hear that.
I'm also dealing with lack of sleep and exhaustion. It's getting hot and I have to keep my window open at night so my small room gets a little cool. But it's not cold enough where I sleep well... And then I'm waking up by people cutting bushes outsides, weed wackers, lawn mowers, trucks, stupid shit, etc. I'm not getting the rest I need and am making mistakes at work. Forgot half a goddmaned delivery (though, it wasn't all my fault. No one in the restaurant caught that we needed double the order, basically) and it's making me mad. I feel so burnt out.
Life's going relatively well and I've been happier except now sleep is the issue.
Think I'm going to ask the roommates to 1/3rd the electric every month and say I'm offering because not only did they lower my rent, but they have AC and I intend to start using it. Fuck this shit. I grew up in FL - You accepted a high electric bill because you valued being fucking comfortable.
This San Diegan culture of "oh we don't need to run it" is absolutely absurd. It's 2016 and I want to be comfortable and it's a problem I can solve with money. /endrant
Fuck, i don't know why but i've been dealing with anxiety over having to put up with my mother tomorrow. If it was for anything other than my brothers graduation from college, i'd probably say fuck it and not go.
Been posting this on FB recently but basically I rent a room in an apartment with 2 women (a couple). I pay $500 a month (6 months now) and I'll be here another 6 months and asked them to lower it to $450. They agreed. I think I'm the best roommate they've had and didn't want to have to go through the trouble of replacing me and then having that person be a gamble. Or at least that's what I was banking on cause I try be quiet as shit, no house guests ever, accommodating and I clean far more often than they do.
I pay 1/3 water every two months. Usually An extra $45 for me, so about $140 every two months is the bill. I don't pay electric.
They have AC. They don't like to run it, which I don't fucking get at all. I come from FL, thermo set to 72 all day err day. You just sucked it up, paid the bill and lived happier in comfort. (Electric probably cheaper in FL, too, though.)
I asked to lower the rent around the third of June. About 3 days ago I hear one of the girls arguing on their phone to their dad and heard she's paying the $875 mortgage and 'what does he mean she has to pay the HOA ($300 monthly) fee, too!? He can't drop this on her like that, besides he's still getting the tax break from it', and shit to that effect.
I had already been planning to ask next about actually picking UP 1/3rd electric each month which would lower their total costs even with the increase of basically being able to run the AC during the day/night time. As I said, sleep problems and I know this would help.
I brought it up one of the girls, the more aggressive of the two - and that's all fine and stuff, but that they may have to change the drop in rent thing because of the HOA fee thing (which is the first they think I heard of it.)
But if I've been paying over half of the entire rent/mortgage, I'm going to sit them down, and tell them no. They can either give me a month (from whenever the conversation happens) to move and find someone else, or we can start splitting everything three ways. Which would bring everyone's rent to $430ish a month or I can continue paying $450 and 1/3rd of electric and water a month.
Which, I am hoping I can convey to them verbally in a polite but firm manner. I think it's a good deal.
Besides, I'm not paying anymore than that for people like this. Fuck that shit. Time to grow up ladies.
You got a lease with your name on it? If not just be careful because they could literally tell you to fuck off and be out the next day if they want to.
No lease. Which is why diplomacy has been key when I talk to them about stuff like this. I have to have math/facts/rewards to this before bringing it up to them, but I think I got it all ready for the moment when it comes. I know I'm just renting a room from them, but I'm also far more 'adult' than they are, heh.
And through early communication/check stubs I can easily prove this is my place of rent as agreed upon by a monthly deal - tenant laws give me a month and I can't see it going down in any flames that would require me to lawyer up.
Edit: Mostly just trying to get all the thoughts outta my head and this is a good place for that shit. Living here has been frustrating but has taught me a TON already. I don't nec. like it but as far as situations go, it's manageable until I'm ready to live soro.
She lives in california and established residence. Eviction isn't that easy out here. There was a whole thing where two guys did an kickstarter scam, paid 30 days of rent for a condo that was supposed to be 44 days and told the owner hahafuck you, you can't evict us.
I'd link it, but it's on a site that shall not be named.
I don't know the people or the situation beyond your post, but it sounds like one of the girls isn't contributing financially to the upkeep/mortgage at all? In that case, I wouldn't be the one suggesting to 'split things 3 ways'. Paying a third of the total costs is fine, but suggesting (or even hinting) that the freeloader start paying for things is a minefield you don't want to go anywhere near. They're a couple and their financial decisions really aren't your business. Stick to paying a fair price for what you get and anything beyond that isn't really your problem.
