I have this shit metabolism that this low of intake is the only way I can lose weight.

Anything over 1,800 cals, even doing cardio 7 days a week, and I gain weight it sucks

Just so crazy that much but I guess I'm semi similar. My base rate is quite a bit higher than yours but exercise does very little for me. Been trying out that myfitnesspal thing and it's hilarious because it will tell me I can eat another 300 calories because of my 5 mile bike ride.... and I'm like lol no maybe 50 more if I count going both ways

There was a crow dying outside my window. I had been hearing caw'ing for a day and by the looks of the ground I think he's been slowly going for a bit. (Lots of bird poo around.) He (she?) has a mate that's been hanging around making most of the noise.

I gathered him up in some bubble wrap and moved him, but I didn't even have the balls to snap its neck. When I moved him, the other crow would watch carefully perched nearby. I bet if I went back out to where I moved it they'd both be there.


Also, really hope I don't get no zoonotic disease. (Unlikely, but hey I'm paranoid.)

funny story about that. about 3 weeks ago, i picked up a 20 day-ish old baby crow to stop it from being eaten by the horde of hospital cats that hang around (presumably to eat the hospital rats, and anything else that moves because they're feral cats and they're kind of shit). could never find the nest, no idea why it got booted (happens for a variety of reasons), so returning it was out. i've hand reared parrots and my wife fostered a crow years ago, so after some quick google-fu to verify age (they boot the babies when they're ready to fly, not always when they can already fly, so sometimes spend extended time on the ground while still being fed) we decided, eh, better pick it up and find a wildlife rehab center. we kept it over the weekend and got ahold of the wild life center guys, who already had another baby about the same age (crows don't do well solo).

of course, it's family unit was...less than thrilled i picked up their doomed offspring. in fact, they objected, strenuously. one of them in particular keeps following me, shrieking. i call him Uncle Fester, and he's a dick. i haven't been dive bombed yet but i'm watching my back. he tries to flank me whenever i go out to the equipment trailer, then screams at me when i turn around and eyeball him.

It isn't that hard. I suppose if you had been laid in the past, you'd keep wishing you could do it again. But with no frame of reference to what you are missing, it just becomes another thing you don't do. But then again, having sex was never high on my agenda. One of those "it would be interesting to see what all the fuss is about", but not caring enough to make any kind of effort.


My fail though. Some marketing genius figured it would be great to have a special 3D ad before Finding Dory, but they need their own glasses for it. So everybody buying a ticket gets two pairs, and we have to tell them the white glasses are for the ads and the black ones are for everything else. We haven't been this busy in months, so to have something causing all sorts of confusion for the movie goers is just icing on the cake.

I wasn't paying attention when I booked my flight and I accidentally booked a flight back at 11:59 PM that arrives back here in Tampa at 5:23 AM. It was the only return option that didn't add more to the ticket price so I'm not going to change it, but whoops. Guess I'll be hanging out in Colorado for a little while longer than I had planned and hopefully sleeping on the plane.

And if not, I'll go to bed the minute I get off of work. But I should be able to at least doze off on the plane for a few hours, and that should be enough to get me through the day.
